Hi guys, im a week late as of today, for the last 2 weeks i have had the usual pre-mentrsual symptoms but they alot different from usual, darker aerola's, frequent trips to the toilet, tiredness, gone off my usual foods etc but for the past two days i have been spotting ever so lightly about once or twice a day, and then nothing between or after the second time. i have the normal abdominal pain, but this is only slight, i have taken 2 pregnancy tests but they both proved negative, can anyone help ? what is going on, should i be worried or just ignore it and wait for my period?

I have had my period for 15 years... I am 25 now.... and have never been late. I didn't get my period this month and I am about 8 days overdue. I have been extremely tired but no soreness or anything in my b___sts. I had some spotting about 2 weeks ago but that's it. I have been feeling dizzy and certain foods just sound absolutely horrible to me.... things I normally love. I have had 2 neg. PT. Any advice? This is new to me!

My husband and are ttc and I'm now 17 days late. Six negative hpts, one negative blood test...I'm getting so frustrated. I had my (nonhormonal) IUD removed about 6 weeks ago, and I wonder whether this might be causing me to be late. No other major stressors or lifestyle changes, so I've pretty much boiled it down to the IUD. Anyone experience anything similar having an IUD removed?

13 days late now, three negative test results, and when I went to the clinic to get tested that one came out negative also. They said to wait two more weeks because my HGC levels could still be low, but if I am pregnant then I'm more than likely 5 weeks now. With my first daughter I knew at 2 weeks.

I took a first response 4 days before my expected p. & got a faint positive. Went for a blood test same day..it was negative. I am now 6 days late still getting negative preg tests?? My b___sts are sensitive, I feel like I have b___terflies all the time, (especially when I'm driving) and I don't feel like my p. is on the way! Is it true that it can take longer than this for the pregnancy hormone to show? Please help!

Could I be pregnant? I took ovulation tests and two came back positive- the first day- September 10th- was darker than the second- September 11th- but both were darker than the control line. We were intimate both those days and several days thereafter. I have a 33 day cycle, which is dead on without fail. The first day of my LMP was August 19th so I do ovulate later than average. I am now on day 36 of my cycle and there are no signs of my period coming- I usually know for a few days that my cycle is coming. I've taken several early pregnancy tests (20 mIU) but all have come back negative. With my first four children, using a standard store pregnancy test (probably 100- 200 mIU), I didn't get a positive result for almost two weeks after the first day of my missed period. Is it possible that I actually am pregnant but between fertilization, implantation and the production rate of HCG, it may take longer for the test to show positive? Or am I just wasting the tests to keep taking them? And, at what date even with no period would it no longer be of any use to take a home pregnancy test? And finally, is a positive ovulation test a definite indication that ovulation is occurring? Thank you very much for your a__sistance.

So, so glad to have found this forum! I'm also a week late with 2 negative tests. Have been off the pill for three months and stopped using condoms just this past month. I haven't had any symptoms except the missed period, and today I was nauseous. Maybe I'm just sick! It's just so weird because I'd never been late even in the years before the pill. So of course now the anxiety about "what might be wrong with me" is building. Looks like many folks here agree that it's best to just relax, but isn't that the challenge? :)

o wow i am in the same situation as most of you. almost 2 weeks late.. peeing all the time.. have had a few nauseous days went from not being able to sleep before to now so tired alllll the time... i took a hpt last night and it came out negative. I didnt no if this was common or not so i started worrying about what else thsi could be. i havent been on the pill for a few months now and my period always comes the same time each month but this month is late.. does anybody have any advice? or any other explanations? all i can say is the waiting game is horrible. i am going to wait another week to take another one... but if that comes out negative im going to my doctor

Hey everyone My period to was supp to start on the first and I'm always on time last week I had cramping in lower stomach for like 3 days and my face broke out that was very unusual even if I woulda started I haven't been stressed or nething lately n I've taken 3 tests and all negative I'm wondering now whether to call my dr or wait a lil longer oh n I also read that ovarian cysts can cause neg results n I have 2 but didnt know if these were kind they were talkin about or not

My period is 8 days late today. I have had 5 negative pregnancy tests. Cycle is usually routine. Nurse is saying that Pregnancy is slim. Does anyone know any differently?

I am 10 days late as well. I've taken a ton of pregnancy tests, some with faint lines, some without, all different brands. I don't know if I'm trying to see the faint line, or if it's just in my head. My question is: Is it possible for the positive line to show up after the 10 minutes? I know all the tests say, tests are invalid after 10 minutes, but the hormone has to be present to make the chemical change of color for the positive line? Right? Not sure... I'm just so ancy! I am 5 days late, feeling funny, sick at times, tired grumpy ( to say the least) but no sore b___sts...we went thru artificial inseminations in 2003 for our daughter and have been using the withdrawl meth. since then..this is the FIRST time I've ever been late..My dad is a Fertility Specialist and I'm afraid to even mention this to him or my mom for fear of not being preg. Don't know what to do and Hubby...happy with one kid...yikes

I guess I forgot that I took 2 preg tests, 2 different brands one wanted 5 seconds of pee and the other 10..I didn't have enough for either..right now, I feel great, no issues no cramping no nothing but this is the past hour..man I want to be...

I'm only two days late, but I'm NEVER late and I've been feeling nauseous for 4 days. I've taken lots of tests -- I'm using First Response and they say it's accurate 5 days before you expect your period. I went to the doctor today and a blood test was negative. She did tell me that it can be up to month (unusual, but it happens) before a test shows positive. She said to try another test in a week. This has to be the most difficult waiting game. It's nice to know that there are lots of us in the same boat.

hi there. in same boat . 5 days late preg test neg. will be number 6 . never had this before. only thing to do really is see gp for blood test. more precise. will be doing the same if nothing in next 3/4 days.
