My period is also late my last cycle started on 16th Feb 07. I have done 2 test on my first test i got a faint line which me and my boyfriend thought we would leave it for a few days, i tested last night and it came back negative. Im a little worried as i have been feeling sick and i have a bloated belly. I dont know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes......... I scanned the internet last week as I was in the same position 2 weeks late and 2 negative tests ( taken at 1 week and 2 weeks ) I waited a few more days and took another 2 tests as I just couldn't understand why I was so late and lo and behold the lines appeared. I started to think I had imagined the lines so I bought the digital one and it said pregnant . So for me it took 3 weeks. Hope this helps

This is absolutley brilliant to see so many women coming together with the same troubles, this forum has been going since 2005 its amazing! and wonderful to see you all standing by eachother shareing and careing for one another,women united! from all over the world all races all with the same problem. You all make me very proud to be a woman and a mother. I wish you all the best of luck, I am also 2 weeks over, being a mother of 2 a boy 6 and a girl 3 i have very nervous that i may be pregnate yet very excited! at the same time. I know that with my other 2 i jumped the gun and teasted alot sooner and just added stress to myself,and over a 6week period it was pos. and yet i did it again 2 weeks over and 5 HPT later still NEG result. Hi, I am in the same boat. As of today, I am 5 days late. I keep getting cramps as if AF is coming, but no sign of it yet. I have taken 4 tests so far, the last one I took, I was only 2 days late. Should I test again? I am not usually this late with my cycle.

Hey Sharlene75 I would wait as you can see from everyone else here it's probably to early to get a accurate test result this early on,I would wait untill i was a good 2 weeks over and then test. I am thinking of testing again i am over 2 weeks late and have been feeling very tired and sick. I want to test again. but im worried incase it's still a NEG result. this is so ridiculas i think i'll wait for sunday to test again, I'm doing my head in with this wondering and trying to count my cycle dates over and over to make sure im right with being late and it never makes any more sense than the last time i did it! all i know is my last period ended on the 10th of feb .and we had s_x on the 15th i remember this because i watched a show on TV and it said the 15th is a good time to conceive , i hear the digital tests are really good i might go for one of those this time.I even dream about being pregnate now.Am i getting to worked up over this? sometimes i feel and if i am cramping like i do before i am due for my next period but it doesnt come. oooahhh they say a woman who is having twins can feel she is pregnate must sooner than women having a single baby. maybe we are all having multi births =p good luck ladys xox

I am having the same problem. I am now 9 days late and have taken tw pregnancy tests and were neg. I have never been late what is going on?

Same problem here 7 days late now, took two first response test, I am going to wait for at least one more week for my next test. I've read that some women have low hcg so its difficult to trace it until you are atleast 2 or 3 weeks late. Goshh this is so stressful. Glad we are all in the same page. Good luck all

It seems everyone is in the same boat. I did just call my Dr. office to see what they want me to do because I have a history of ectopic pregnancies, so i need to be careful. Well I hope everyone gets the answers they want. I know how frustrating this is. I am normally not late unless there is a pregnancy! Good luck to all.

Hey I am 5 days late. Tested yesterday with a 2 pack one negative one very faint. Then bought another today and negative. Confused cycles are usually 28 days last mentrual period March 1 was supposed to have next on March 29. I have no symptoms of AF coming or pregnancy. No cramps nothing. I am clueless. With my son I had no symptoms but a late period. I did not test with my son until I was 2 weeks late for my period. So really I have nver tested early before. I hoping I am and that it is because I ovulated late. Keeping my fingers crossed. But this is becoming a real pain in the b___t and the waiting is just stressing me out. I called my doctor and he told me to wait it out another couple of days and re-test. Told me to wait until I am a week late almost there and if negative he will give me a blood test.

Hello everyone! I am a week and a half overdue, took 4 pregnancy tests before I was a week overdue....earlier on I had twinges in my abdomen, spotting, ligt pink, I stopped b___stfeeding 4 months ago, had my last AF 12th of March....can anyone tell me why this is happening? In addition to the earlier cramping, I now had a dull headache....and I pee allot, very often....

My period is 4 days late. All tests I have done are negative but I am so nauseous, I have a shocking constant headache, I pa__sed out in the shower but I also have a fever and aching body??? This would be my 5th pregnancy and I don't remember the fever any other time. Other than that I feel completely pregnant but the test keeps saying no!!!

Same here. My period is a week late today. Have done a couple of pregnancy HPT's as I 'feel ' pregnant but they have come back negative. Was sure was going to be positive as have been having what i thought were sympotms - 4 days of stomach cramps (thought AF was about to start any minute and felt like i spent most of those few days rushing to the toilet just to check - but AF was a no show!!!!!!), then had a small amount of spotting when went to the toilet on day 3 of cramping, also started feeeling slightly nauseous when wake up in the mornings. However test today still says negative. Never been this late before - whats going on?

Hi! I am now 3 days late in a regular 30 day cycle and have tested neg 3 times. My doctor has a__sured me that this is quite common with early use of HPT and that I should wait until I am AT LEAST two weeks late. This is my 3rd pregnancy - I have a 3 yr old and lost twins at xmas - so I recognise some familair signs. I am feeling sick (had to get up at 4am today as thought I was going to be sick) swollen b___bs, lightheaded and dizzy, mucus, headache and extreme tiredness! Am trying not to get my hopes up but is soooo difficult! Good luck to all you others out there who keep getting neg results and are spending a small fortune on HPT!
