Well I took another test this morning and again negative...I am 10 days late now. I think I am going to call my doctor on Monday and set up and appointment for Tuesday. I will definetely keep everyond posted

Hello everone thought i would update you i am now 15 days late feel rubbish ive got a bad cold sinus pain basically fed up Ashley 1990 doctor didnt even offer a blood test when the doc pee test came out neg i tryed to push it and she said to come back if i dont come on next time so thats just under 2 weeks i am of to the dentist on thursday need to have xrays and fillings and i made the doc aware of that she might as well of said WHATEVER so i am going to do another home test on wednesday if AF does not come by then

Hi, kelly42880, i know how you feel. I saw the doctor who was on call as couldnt see my own for two weeks. Thought it was about time as had a bad head with 2 nose bleeds for 5 days. I mentioned that i was a week late and that i'd received a negative result but all she said was 'that was wise'. she didnt expand on that or say i could possibly be pregnant. Then prescribed me these antibiotics which i have chosen not to take until my period comes if its going to. She also said that i had a borderline temp. All this is soo confusing. I keep arguing in my head if i am preg or not. Funnily enough they managed to fit me in with my own doc tmw for a follow up. I will do a test before i go and if still neg will ask for a blood test. Wish me well! Dont know what she'll say when i tell her i havent taken med but sure she will understand.

hello scorpio its prob too l8 for me to say this but ask her if the antibiotics are safe for consumption when pregnant if shes says no ask for some that are( if they do exsist ) good luck i would be interested how easily the doc gives you a blood test and where do you live i live in hampshire england

ok this site just did something weird. Was logged in and had typed long response and it told me to log in again and i lost all that i had written. Was a little annoyed to start and that didnt help.I didnt get any answers that id hoped for. You expect rea__surance from the doctors. i dont know why preg tests tell you to se a doc if ou dont come on. they wont look into it until you havent had one for six mnths. have they ever waited that long! this eems like an etenity. she said that many women miss periods. same old reason stress etc. i had a very stressful move last year and that didnt affect me. ive had nothing different in my life for well a year. she would expect a positive by a week late. wouldnt do blood test but could get nurse to do urine. what help is that. apparently they just as effective. so i gotta b a good girl and take pills. dont think i missed any info

i am sorry scorpio glad im not the only one with a rubbish doctor looks like we are both in the same boat playing the waiting game i am glad your in england too that way i could compare your doctors responce with mine i would be interested to know if the ladys on here that are given blood tests are english too anyway 2 days untill i do my test i know its negative but hey im just so worried cos my detist is doing xrays on thursday :-( im so afraid if i am preg it will damage my baby so i want either a possitive result on wednesday or to see AF hope we soon get our closure

was going to ask to exchange email but i dont think its allowed. i wasnt going to mention this as its not related to general pregnancy but is to me. i have cystic fibrosis, dont know if youve heard of it. just with you talking about xrays etc. ive already mentiond in meant to be on antibiotics. i take other meds too. i saw my specialist cf doc to get ok to try for a family an he took me off any that may harm a baby. we also got my partner tested to see what chances wed have of having cf child. anyway going off track here. after i had my last miscarriage we decided to give it a break for a little while as im sure you know it can take over your life. it was getting too much and i wasnt ready for that again. since then something in my bloods are abnormal with my liver and so i was put on another pill which can harm baby. im not taking this either but would really want to know if im not preg so i can get back on it as im going to see a liver specialist at addenbrookes on the 29th nov. i know he chances are that im not but i dont want to run that risk. i should have been more careful not to get in this situation and used protection all the time although im sure i would still question a late period. so maybe it would be no different. and now i have just ajusted to the idea of giving trying a break for a while and this happens i cant stop thinking about how much i want a baby again and revaluating my whoe situaion. its all soo confusing!

Hello scorpio i am adding a few details here feel free to use any if any get through 0/7/7/0/8/2/3/6/3/1/8 my mob i know you prob wont want to chat but give me a text and i will text you i know how awful the trying for a baby thing gets me and my partner stopped trying 2 years ago we have only just got our love life back i think mainly cos i accepted not having a baby now this has trown me again and if anything scared me

OK guys so i said i would update you! well, still don't know yet. the doc sent me for another hcg blood test and this one came out higher then the one before but not at pregnant levels yet. My last one 2 weeks ago was <.5, this one i took yesterday was .6. So it has came up but i don't know if it's just normal for a women to have hcg in her blood or if it's now just starting to raise and i am pregnant. it's so frustrating. my doc is in surgery today so the nurse said he can't get back to me till tomorrow so.....i dunno. wish me luck! oh, and yeah today is now the starting of my second missed period.

one of the questions in my head is if you miss a period how do you know when you concieved. which month. i know you would find out later with scans but if you miss a cycle you dont really know where you are with the next unless you test for certain things. i have a week and a half to my next period if on track and if i got a positive result i wouldnt know at the time if i was 4 weeks or 8. to be honset im not very optimistic now anyway after seeing doc. just expressing my thoughts.

hello all its me again did my test today came back negative oh well have now accepted that i am not pregnant even though i am now 18 days l8 i have got an AF feeling so i think it is on its way so maybe i just didnt ovulate oh what fun hope all of you are doing well and i hope all of you that are waiting and hoping for a baby get one me im not sure what i want used to know but now im left confused and fed up

SCORPIO:::::::::if u just go onto google.com and type if pregnancy calculator, a whole list of websites will come up to help you work out the date. all you do is type in the date of your last period and the date that you are due. becaseu they say that normally if you have concieved then it would of happened around 14 days after ur last period. Some calculators tho, ask u 2 put the date in tha u think u concieved. good luck :D xxx

hi ashley. i know how id workit out if it was a normal pregnancy. i probably didnt put it clearly enough. what i was trying to say was as not getting positive result after first missed period i wondered of you didnt concieve then but in the next so you would be 4 wks preg at second missed period but u may think you were 8. anyway. i said id keep you all posted whatever. just to let you know i started my period on friday. on the 18th day of being late????? so thats a first for me. but now i wont be able to trust my body as ive been this late. and like kelly im confused on what i want

HI all! I'm new to the site and so thankful to have found other women in the same situation as me!! I have been off bc since April and started ttc in October. If I did not conceive I should have gotten my period on Nov. 13. Negative hpts and a negative blood test Nov. 21. Although I had been "feeling pregnant" and many people close to me thought/think i am too( even my dog has been acting funny and sleeping with her head on my belly every night) i trusted the doctor that I was not pregnant, bought a new opk and have been living my life. however, a friend told me that she read that it is possible to get neg blood and hpt and still be pregnant. now i read about all of you and see that it is actually possible! it gives me hope but at the same time i feel like i'm going crazy! does anyone know if there is greater chance of a failed pregnancy if it takes a long time for the hcg to show up?
