I am a week late today and have done 5 at home preg tests and they are still coming up negative. I've just gone off the pill...well didn't start taking it again after my last period so i don't know if that has anything to do with it??? any help on that issue?? i did have symptoms for a week and now its gone... my nipples are sore and bloating but no period?????? any help on the issue would be great! xx

Omfg! So my past period was on may 23 09 and well wen june came around it wasnt bleeding or nothing, just pinkish stuff wen i wipe myself and it only last for a day or two then it turned in to a white discharge so my hubby told me i might be peggers and so we bought a test that came in a 2 pack called "answer early result pregnancy test" and i took one and it came out negative and i took the other one day ago and still negative.. my b___st are really sore and my back hurts and idk but i usually dont eat much sweets but ive been wanting sweets for the longest! but well wee monday doctors monday! if i am, im soo excited! wish me luck but if u guys have any thing or advise for me then please do reply i do the help, im a very young!

I'm about a week late on my period. I haven't had s_x since my last period, just messed around with my boyfriend a little. He never finished, even though i know you can still get pregnant. My periods are usually pretty regular, and I haven't felt any out of the ordinary. I took a test yesterday, and it said negative. I'm not sure if it could be from stress this last month because I moved, and then I was worried that I'm pregnant because it isn't my time. Any help?

New to this...Only 21 yrs old, had unprotected, drunk s_x about 2 and a half weeks ago, but would not call it complete s_x, it was very short with about 3 times in out and he said he didnt even finish. Not very proud as never done that sort of thing before. Now I am 3 days late, but had a negative home pregnancy test. The day it happened was 10th day of my cycle. Gathering all the facts it is very unlikely that I am. However, normally I am quiet regular. Also no pregnancy signs, but no period either! Will be getting a blood test later today. Too young to want a baby. Could it just be stress?? Please give opinions!

I guess everyone is having the same problem. my period is 2 weeks late and i have most of the pregnancy signs and i took a pregnancy test and came out negitive. Me and my husband have been tryin to concieve for about six months...and i cant see a doctor yet cuz we are still waiting on our medical insurance....any advice/help? Plz! Thank you!

Just an update. I took my blood test yesterday and it came out negative. Will update once period comes and possible reasons why it was late. good luck to all!

Ok so here is the end of my story. Yesterday when I got much more relaxed (after negative blood test results), had a gla__s of wine with my friend before going to bed and this morning small abdominal cramps and my period! :) Honestly I think the cause of delay was stress so those of you who do NOT wish to have a baby and are freaking out (after negative results), stop it and live your normal lifes there can be many causes for your delay. On the other hand, if you did have a full unprotected s_x, especially on a fertile day of your cycle than (perhaps too late now for this advice), but for the future TAKE the morning after pill, I know a friend who didnt (she was sure it would be ok...dont ask why!) and she ended up having an abortion...This forum is very good in a way, but I think when you read too much (like I did!) you get even more stressed because you hear of cases where women had their period and still are pregnant (its like no matter what you can never be sure...bollocks)! So such stories really dont help girls who do not wish to have a baby. Girls, deal with your own situations individually, its the best solution and talk to people around you. Good luck to you all!

same thing here. I'm a week late, nauseous, tired, dizzy, headaches, weak. i have an 8 month old son and i can barely keep up with him this pa__sed week. I have taken 3 HPT all negative. i really wish i could just get my AF or a pos test... We are wanting to get pregnant again soon, but more like october or november, but if i am now it would be alright, except we miss out on the real "trying" :)

Hey can anyone help me or later found out they were pregnant? I am 2 and 1/2 weeks late for my period, and me and my other half have been trying for a few months 2 get pregnant. My period that i had before was very light an only lasted couple of days, which is not normal for me. I have been experiencing symptoms, such as nausea and being sick, light headed, cramping in my stomach, and feeling so tired. My stomach is strating to look like i am pregnant. I have taken 3 home pregnancy test, one before i was due my period, one just after and then one a week later they were all negative. I went to the drs yesterday and saw a nurse, who did another urine test which came up negative. I asked her why i was getting all these symptoms and my stomach was growing as there was no other explanation for it. The nurse was rubbish, i wanted a blood test as i have heard these are more accurate than urine tests but she wouldnt do one. So i left the drs feeling none the wiser. Has anyone else been in the same situation, and found out that they were actually pregnant down the line. Or have anyone got any information that can help me Please... Im not stressed or worried about anything... I would just like to know for sure. Thanks

zjcool..my older sister went through the same issue you did..she was having lots of symptoms did a HPT and it was negative went to the doctors to doa urine test..negative..she gave it a few more weeks and decided to do the blood test and even at that it came back negative a month later still no period turned out she was in fact pregnant. I would just be very careful on what you do. wait about2 more week if nothing do a blood test. I had some issues with this too except i was not pregant i went 2 months with no period was driving myself nuts because me and my fiance are trying to have a baby and i have not been able to get pregnant. i am in the process of trying fertility pills hope this works..good luck with you and again be very careful

Ok Im new to this whole thing... I am now 7 days late on my period. My last period was July 14. I have taken 3 HPTs and all negative. My lower back is killing me, and I have been cramping all week now as if AF was here....nothing. My b___bs are starting to get sore too. Why the negative results? I also feel like I have a small bladder infection. Do you think this could be why the tests are negative right now? Any advise would be great.

mlaster29 - A bladder infection won't affect the results of a pregnancy test. It tests looks for one thing, HCG. You could be stressing yourself out, and making the symptoms. It's been 90 days since my last period and I am not pregnant. Once I came to terms with that the "symptoms" went away. I have had bad back pain and cramps, but that could be anything. Your test could be negative also because you miss- judged your period due date. Wait a few days and try again. After that if you still feel it go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. I hope everything works out for you.

LindsayCA: Thanks for the quick response. I really wish it was stress that was causing these symptoms and my AF to be over a week late. Im not on BC and my fiance and I aren't worried about getting pregnant..we will obviously be thrilled if we were, but not upset if we weren't... But with my headaches, cramping and backaches, I just want the "symptoms" to go away right now. They dont feel too good. I actually marked the date of my last period July 14th because it was my sister's wedding day. The nurse wont give me bladder infection medicine since I missed my period so I am going in for a blood test this week. I guess we will know then! Over a week late...gees I hope I find out what the heck is going on with me. Have you experienced this too before?

Well I get my period's every 3 to 4 months, so after each one I experience all the symptoms and all the tests come back negative. It's very sad. My doctor is a complete tool, so I am finally going to the fertility clinic on Thursday. Hopefully they can find out why I don't ovulate every month. I have a daughter already, and she came very quick so it was hard when the second one hasn't been as quick. (It's been over a year of trying) I'm pretty sure it's to do with the hormones in my body, which can fake a lot of things. Hopefully you find out soon :)

Yeah I hope I find out soon too. I've never had an irregular period before. I haven't been on birth control in over a year and a half and just the past 2 months my fiance hasn't been 'pulling out'. I just hope Im not like my sister and doesn't find out until I am 12 weeks along! Same with my mom too. Im sorry about the ovulating problems. You know it will happen when it needs to happen. That is probably why you have your little Angel daughter right now. Some things just work out for the best even when you dont expect it too. I will let you know what happens with my blood test. Hi ladies, I feel it's important to post the last week of my life on this discussion. Early last week I had been looking for advice on backpain, late period,and negative pregnancy test results. My cycle is usually 30 - 34 days. I'm just back from my honeymoon. Two weeks ago I was having constant 'period pains' in my lower back. I went nowhere without my tampons. The backpain lasted 5 days but no Period. My sister commented on how I had my hands placed on my tummy the way heavily pregant women do. I was unaware I was doing it. So on day 33 I did a (clearblue)test. Result was negative. I entered every forum on the topic!! Day 36 I used the second test in the packet. I wasn't sleeping as well as I would usually, I kept dreaming I was pregnant but the result was again negative. On day 41 I bought a 'first response' pregnancy test. It was negative. I concluded that perhaps my 'honeymoon' long distance travel was contributing to my delayed period and disturbed sleep. I partied on day 43 at my friends wedding (Tampons in handbag) I believed that 3 negatives must mean I'm not pregnant, even though I went to bed mapping out when I would be due if I was pregnant!! Day 46. I had one 'clearblue' pregnancy test left so at 6.30am when I woke to go to the toilet, I did another test. Result read POSITIVE, a faint line but I've done enough test to know that if there is a faint line, there is a baby!! To confirm it, I did another test. This time a 'clearblue digital test.' There it had it... PREGNANT depicting 1-2weeks. I wanted to share this news with you all as not many people post the confirmation of a positive after so many negatives. Post_tive thinking ladies x
