I'm going to the doctor next week to get a pregnancy test done. My question is will they know that day if I'm pregnant or not?

They will probably do a urine test first and that will come back within 5 minutes and then they will probably draw your blood and that is over night. Hope that helps.

Every clinic is different. Mine did a blood test right away and the test came back that day. It depends on the lab, not the doctor. You can always ask to speak to a nurse and get the results. I went first thing in the morning so my results were in by 3pm. I did not even need to see the doc, I called the clinic and they asked the doc/nurse to send papers to the lab to order the test. Saves time and money that way.
