I am 13 days late. I have taken 3 hpt and they are all negative. My doctor has prescribed Provera to make my period come down. I feel really unconfortable b/c I don't know how she can be sure that I am nor preganant. Anyone else taken this?

I've just finished my 10th day on Provera. (I'm over 40 days late now). My doc did a urine test before prescribing it--made me uncomfortable because I didn't think those test were as accurate as blood tests! If you still don't get a period after the Provera, see your doc because something else is going on. I saw someone else on this website had an underactive thyroid, or could be that you really are pregant. I should get AF sometime this week. Good luck and keep me posted--I'll do the same!
