negative pregnancy tests..is this normal to be pregnant and have negative pregnancy tests? i've got all the signs but the tests are negative...i really dont wanna be pregnant...has anybody else been in this situation, where they've been pregnant but all the tests are negative??

It happens, but it is not the norm. How late are you? I can answer your question better if I knew if when you are due, and if and how late you are, because you can be pregnant and test negative if you are testing too early, If the quant_tative blood test ( actually measures the level of hcg in the blood, as opposed to the qualitative which only say yes or no) is negative then you probably are not pregnant, this blood test is way more accurate than a urine test, although the hpt are pretty on the mark most of the time. If you are using a sensitive hpt ( on that measures 20-25mIU's) you will be more likely to test + earlier on. It is possible, but not for everyone< to test + 10 past ovulation (4 days before you r expected period) Thanks for you additional info. :)

i am 3 days late...i took the Predictor and the Clear Blue pregnancy tests and also the doctor took a test....thanx for all the advice...

Did you doctor do a blood test or a urine?

If you are only three days late, she needs to run a quant_tative blood test. I am a__suming she ran the urine test when you were not even 3 days late but sooner? It is sooo possible that she even tested you too soon for a urine test to come up positive. Some women do not produce enough of the hormone early on to show up. I just don't understand why some doctors see a negative blood test, and don't/or won't offer a blood test. It was really ridiculous not to in your case, you were not even really late! She should have took that way into consideration. I would really think about going somewhere else and have a quant_tative blood test done. Especially if you are having other symptoms. I know that you don't want to be pregnant so it is easier to just accept the doctors word, but you really need to find out. Let us know. :)

Hi, I have had pregnancy symtoms for about two weeks (very tired, out of breath easily, peeing what seems like every 10 minutes, sore and tingly b___sts, growing tummy, constipation, lower back pain and nausea!!) I have taken a home pregnancy test today, 6 days after my period was late, I was convinced it would be positive but it was negative. Has anyone else just experienced the same and turned out to be pregnant?

Your test could not be reading your body right. I know in my family females could be 4 months and know they are b/c of the ultrsounds but the HPT could still be negative.
