Early Ovulation On Clomid

Hi All!
I am a first timer to a TTC site. I just had my first IUI/clomid round and I am TWW...long weeks might I mention! I took 100 mg of Clomid day 4-7 and went in for an u/s on day 9 just to see how things were going. Low and behold, I had one BIG FOLLIE(24cm) and 8mm uterine lining. RE had me take trigger shot for IUI 36 hours later. This would have only put me at IUI on cd 11. Anyone had success from early ovulation?
