Fibrin Deposits In Placenta

At my last level 2 u/s, the OB commented that there was an echogenic region in my placenta that could be due to fibrin deposits. I am only 23wks along and in the report he stated that this is not normally seen until late in the third trimester. Of course, everything I read about this makes me more nervous. I have my next visit with my OB on 2/13 so I can ask her more then, but was wondering if anyone has been told this, heard about this or is aware of what this could be and the indications.
