Hi ladies
I just found this forum. I had joined a due date forum at another site, but all the women there are soooo young! So, I would love to join you all.
I'm Carol Anne, live in Jersey, have two boys 5 and 3 and am expecting baby boy #3 in November. I'm 39 which seems to freak out the medical personnel.
PG has a couple of possible issues, so I am taking it easy and just trying not to worry until the docs tell me there is a reason to worry. (issues = placenta completely covering cervix at 18 weeks and a 2 vessel umbilical cord. I'm hopeful the placenta will move up).
Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

what is a 2 vessel umbilical cord.?i am sure the placenta will move up. good luck and welcome

Hi Carol Anne, welcome and congratulations! I hope you'll be as happy as I am with this website and "Pregnant over 35" board in particular, the women here are supportive and informative. I'll be 38 on baby #1's (a boy!) due date of Nov 22. We have a November mommies thread on this over 35 board. If you'd like to, please join us over there too (same goes for you Anna). There are two other ladies over there with boys around your oldest son's age, and I'm sure we'd all like to hear more about your pregnancy. ***There are a couple of other ladies on this website who have mentioned the same placenta issue--with one of them the placenta moved to a better position. I hope the same will happen for you.

Hi carolanne, just wanted to welcome you to pregnant over 35. I will be a November Mommy too, I am going into my 23rd week. My due date is close to Perl's Nov 21st. I have my OB appointment tomorrow..will hear some results from my 19 week ultrasound hopefully. Wishing you all the best with your pregnancy and hope your issues soon resolve themselves.
