Hey Col - thanks for the recipe. It sounds really yummy and I'll try it tonight and let you know. (I do like camomile and drink it quite often but how can I possibly pa__s up the chance to drink milk with b___ter in it!!!!!! LOL!!!!! What a TREAT!) Great to hear your family reactions. Can't wait til I make the news public - only 4.5 weeks to go (seems like an AGE but I'll wait it out!!) Re. your cramps. I'm not really having cramps - more like "twisty feelings" when I move awkwardly or too fast. However, in the first few weeks (up until about week 8 I think) I did have occasional cramping which my doctors said is absolutely nothing to worry about because it's the stretching of the uterus. If it gets really bad or, of course, if you have any bleeding, then I would contact your doctor. Til then - take it as a sign of a healthy pregnancy!! How is everyone else doing today? Speak to you all soon!

Morning ladies!!! COL-congrats to you! Trust me, it still hasn't even sunk in for me that I am PG, let alone supposed to have twins. Some moments I don't even feel PG, then others I feel so ill that there's no doubt. Hopeful, the insomnia issue is different for me every night. Last night I seemed to sleep through the night, until about 5:30, which is a first. It was probably due to the fact that I can't breathe through my nose, so my brain is probably not getting any oxygen!!! lol..........The lining of my nose feels raw and I woke up congested and TMI.....bloody for the 3rd day in a row. Val, you asked about my progesterone level.....it will be tested again on Thursday and then I have an U/S on Monday to hopefully see two heartbeats. It's so weird to think there is anything growing in there. When I had my forst U/S I was so surprised to hear the lady say there were two sacs, because you think you'd feel something that significant going on in your belly. My point is, I don't know what we'll see on Monday, I just tell DH that I hope it's two little beating hearts. Tammy and Future....welcome and congrats to you too. It's nice to know I have people to share this wild ride with. When I was on the TTC board I only dreamed of being over here. Thanks for joining.

Hey! I have had ear and sinus pain for 3 days now. I wake up everyday with a dry bloody nose, and despite all the steam and saline irrigation I do my ear, temple, and face still hurts. So........I researched on the web what antibiotics are safe to take during pregnancy and I started taking Amoxicillan tonight. I have a whole bottle of it from when I had my last infection and was switched to a different antibiotic. I guess I'm mentioning it because I feel bad for putting my babies into any potential harm, but I honestly think I have an infection and the pain is just relentless. I have ignored the pain for so long before that I have ended up in the ER crying so I am just trying to avoid an episode like that. Pray for me that it works though, because sinus pain sucks so bad and I can only take it for so long. How are the rest of you doing. Better than me I hope! I am going in tomorrow morning for a progesterone check again. I'll find out the results in the afternoon. Let me know how you all are doing. Val you have your first U/S on Friday right?

TRACY, sorry about the sinus pain - that really sucks. Did you talk with your ob or specialist about the antibiotics? I hope your progesterone levels are great tomorrow! Yup, u/s on Friday. It's taking so long to get here! The bloating eased up some today (which of course worried me) but I'm still tired and have sore b___bs so I guess it's ok. DH thinks that the extreme bloating only lasted about 1-2 weeks last time, and I think he's right. Funny how he remembers these things better than me! JANICE, welcome and congrats! I'm from Oregon. How about you? COL, how are you doing? Gotta go eat dinner... ttyl

Welcome and well done Janice! Many congratulations and it's great to have you with us. Not much news from me really. Sleeplessness is still with me but seems to be getting better (or am I simply getting used to it?) COL - I still haven't tried your magic recipe yet as I just haven't felt like I can stomach such a heavy drink just before bed (could EASILY drink it in the day though!!!) What I have found is that having a nap after breakfast seems to help so it seems that hunger is what is keeping me awake and eating makes me sleepy. Tracy88 - sorry to hear about your sinuses. That's really horrible. I hope it gets better soon but do check with your doctor about using the Amoxycyllin - you really can't believe everything you read on the internet (especially my posts LOL! LOL! LOL!!!!!!!) How is everyone else? Let us know your news!

I saw the sinus doctor this morning and he prescribed Amoxicillin. He's an old guy and has prescribed it before to PG patients. It's a tried and true medication. I had c___ppy news today. The nurse called with my progesterone results and asked if I have been taking my Prometrium. I said of course, and she said that my progesterone dropped more, BUT is still within normal range. They just don't like that it started so high (114) and has dropped to 70 then to 50. So, needless to say I am c___pping in my pants and have to take Prometrium twice a day now (which makes me very tired). They did an U/S to check my ovaries and I got to see the little booger's tiny heartbeats! They said my ovaries have gone down in size some, so I need to continue bedrest and drinking lots of fluid. I have an appt. in two weeks for another U/S to hear the heartbeats. Then to top all this off, I had to take my cat to the vet for the third time this week so far, and just got home. Crazy day here! Someone asked where we all live??? I live in South Florida just north of west palm beach. Let me know how you all are doing. Val, good luck with you U/S tomorrow. I want to hear ASAP what you saw!!!!!

Hi Tracy - Sorry your progesterone levels weren't higher. Did the dr say what the range should be? That's exciting that you got to see the heartbeats! I'm hoping everything goes smoothly for you... I'll post tomorrow after my u/s but it probably won't be until the mid-late afternoon (pacific time). HOPEFUL, glad your sleeplessness is getting better. I've been waking up a lot at night but luckily I usually get back to sleep. But I woke up so much last night that I ended up sleeping until after 10 this morning!

Good morning ladies, Tracy, I am so sorry you are struggling with your progesterone level, but as long as its within the normal level, I would not worry about it, it must be nice seeing the heat beat. Keep the positive att_tude. Hopeful, don’t make fun of my recipe : ) : ) : ), I am glad you are feeling better. Val, I will be waiting to hear about your u/s news, I am having the same sleeping issues you have, I keep waking up every hour, but go back to sleep again. My updates, nothing really to report, the only symptom I have t so far is the cramps that hit once in a while. I think I am getting excited more and more. My first prenatal, is Oct. 4th, then Oct 10th is my first prenatal with my ND. Question for you ladies, are you going to go with obstetrician or midwife? Wish you all the best time. Janice, welcome to our thread, and don’t worry, if this baby made it although you have PCOS, then its meant to be, don’t you think? As for your question where about we are, I am in Ontario, Canada. TTYL all

Hello ladies : ) Hope I'm crushing your party here. I just want to say hi to my cycle buddies COL and Val ( we made it and we're having "2007 babies") and also hi to Hopeful too : ) I missed you girls too. And congratulations to all mommies to be, Tracy, Tammy and Future mommy of 2 and Janice : ) I'm not due in May but it's my first and baby's due 22nd Apr : ) COL - How far along are you now? Your symptons sound I what I had during my first few weeks and I still having sleepless nights too. I can't wait for you to have your u/s : ) Val - How did your u/s go? How many weeks ate you at now??? I'll answer your question here as to why my ob/gynae requested me to be on bedrest for the 1st trimester ...... Well, I had some brown spottings during the first few weeks. Due to past history, my ob/gynae was very concerned even though we saw a heatbeat at 6 weeks. To be on the safe side ..... she put me on progestrone and she gave me an injection every 2 days from week 6 - 9. Anyway .... my next visit will be in 3 weeks which means I hit 2nd trimester : ) : ) : ) I have so much to catch up with all of you : ) : ) : ) Fill me in on what I had missed out these past weeks. Take care and talk to you soon : )

hi all... sorry I didn't post sooner - I came home and napped and then had to go teach a couple of local music students. The u/s went well today. The dr did it himself and we saw the sac and the start of the pole and everything was in the right place so he was pleased. They scheduled me for my 2nd u/s on Oct 9th - that's when they expect to hear the hb. I'm 5wk5days today and will be 7 weeks for the next one. I was sooooo nervous today - just kept getting more and more nervous as we approached, especially since my back was hurting a bit and I was having different stomach twinges than usual. This is so nerve-wracking! I'm trying to regain the calm I had earlier. Next Thursday I'm going to see both my acupuncturist and the hypnotherapist so that should help. TRACY, sorry about the m/s. I think it's just starting for me... my appet_te is down and I've been slightly nauseous at times, especially in the car! How are are you? About 6 weeks and ?? days? SANN, I can't believe you'll be at 2nd trimester in just 3 weeks! That's wonderful! COL, when is your first appt? And btw, I forgot to say happy birthday and anniversary (it was the 26th, right?) Howdy to everyone else...hope y'all are doing well!

Hello all and thank you for making me feel welcom. Is anyone else taking PROMETRIUM. Its a high risk pregnancy because I have LUPUS, am 40 and have had a miscariage in the past. I do however have 5 children. The oldest is 19 and the youngest is almost 14. Three of them are my own. So most of my family feels that I am crazy and I don't really have much support from them. My husband however is the greatest humanbeing in the world. Hope you all have someone in your life like that.

Hi all! Not much change to report here - all is well though so that's important. Tracy88 - sorry to hear about your progesterone worries and sickness but I'm glad you've got the sinuses sorted now. That must be a huge relief. I'm sure everything will be fine and they'll keep a good check on you because of your situation. Make sure you get enough rest!!! Hey Sann - I'm sure we're right about coming to this board aswell as first babies are often late so we could easily be due in May!!! Nice to see you here too!! How are you today???????? DEAREST COL - I didn't mean it to sound like I was making fun of your recipe. I really think it sounds delicious and WANT to try it - it's just that by the time I go to bed I don't feel like drinking milk at all which is a terrible shame. Re. your question about obstetrician or midwife..........I really have no idea!! Can you explain the difference as I'm not clear on what the advantages/disadvantages are. Also I'm not sure that I'll even get a choice in the health system we have but I'd still like to be armed with the relevant information if a choice is possible. Hope you're well. Val - I know exactly how you feel about being nervous. I was (and still am, but less so I suppose) a basketcase in the first 6-7weeks. All I can say is, if you have any reason to worry then don't hesitate to go and see your doctor. Worry causes stress which is not good for your baby and a doctor's rea__surance will lessen the stress. Even just a phonecall will make you feel better. You're doing great - try to enjoy it! Hi there Tammy - sorry to hear about the complications you have to deal with. It looks like Tracy is on prometrium but I don't know anything about LUPUS. Can you explain? I also had a miscarriage and can understand your worries and fears and I'm so sorry that you're not getting the support you deserve and NEED from your family. Thank GOODNESS for wonderful husbands!! Hope everyone is feeling good today. Speak to you all soon!

Hello everyone : ) COL - I must have missed your post : ( I didn't realised till Val mentioned it. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY AND ANNIVERSARY TO YOU : ) Yep COL !!!! We saw the feal pole at 6 weeks plus minus 2 days, got a picture of the u/s too but baby was measuring really small. I had an u/s this past Monday ... we could baby's hands and legs got a picture of that too in fact it looked as if baby was posing for us, my Ob/gynae called it the "teddy bear" pose ... really cute : ) : ) : ) How are feeling? RE : Midwife or OB ??? (which I had missed ... sorry) I go with Ob/gynae since we're Over35 (especially for those of us pregnant with #1 or have had a mc before) and my Tcm physician said to be on the safe side Ob/gynae would be a better choice. Val - Great ... you saw a heartbeat : ) did you get a picture of the u/s??? I was nauseous like you at week 6 then I started to throw up in the evenings at week 7/8 ... I couldn't eat much too. I still feel a little nauseous from time to time. Hope you feel better : ) Tracy - Thanks! Hope you feel better .... bedrest is no fun : ( I've been on bedrest for the past fwe weeks. Don't worry .... everything will be fine, I survived and so will you : ) Anyway, I'm still on progestrone too just like you. How's your sinus? My nose gets really "stiff" (kind of like sinus) at night and it's hard to breath. Hi Tammy - Sorry to hear that you have some complications. I've heard of prometriun but I don't know anything about lupus too : ( Stay positive : ) Hopeful - I do ok today but still feeling tired though. How was your day? QUESTION FOR EVERYONE - Has anyone of you gone off your favourite foods? Have a great weekend : )
