i'm 35 and discovered i was pregnant on boxing day! i have now been having problems since friday when i started spotting. i had a va___al scan and the doctors could see a sack but no baby (i am supposed to be 8+ weeks?) they say the dates could be wrong and it could be less, or i am miscarrying. the spotting has worsened and is now more like a period, with a period like pain. all the hospital said when i phoned was it was most definate that i was miscarrying and to only go to A&E if the bleeding got even heavier! but they still want me to go for another internal scan next monday?? i dont feel reasured that anything else can be done even though i read stories that some women are still pregnant and go on to have a healthy pregnancy even after they've had these type of problems. can anyone help?
