I took once pregnancy test on the 6th that came out positive. On the 13th, I took another which came out negative. I took both tests late in the day. I know it's possible I could have diluted the urine with too many liquids - and I also know there are rare circ_mstances which can render a false-positive result. I had my tubes tied twelve years ago, but had a miscarriage in october. I did not even know I was pregnant when it happened. Now, my father is trying to tell me that i'm starting menopause and it's rediculous to think i could be pregnant. I know he's being closed-minded, but I've been reading about my symptoms and menopause - ovarian cancers and pregnancy all share similar symptoms. Mine are scant spotting in place of a normal period - unable to button wasteband on jeans, but no real weight gain - sweating and nausea - extreme fatigue - br___t tenderness that comes and goes. I've had three children, but it's been 12 years and none of my previous pregnancies were this confusing. Also - I passed a very minute amount of snot-like mucus that was clear with just a streak of blood in it. I'm going through a tough financial time and plan to go to the doctor soon, but if anyone has any light to shed on my confusion, it would be appreciated.

Hi maybe try taking the test first thing in the morning and see what happens. First response and Clear Blue Easy are good ones to use. Good luck & let me know what happens!
