Hi Miracle baby, I haven't been on in awhile. All is going well here too. We're pretty sure. I haven't gained any weight. I'm actually 7 pounds lighter than when I got pg, so Dr. is going to do an ultrasound at 30 weeks just to make sure all is well. I still vomit sometimes at night and am often nauseaus after i eat. My belly seems to be growing fast and I feel all kinds of kicking and moving around. So I think all is well, but will be glda to hear him say it on April 25th. Glad you're doing well!!!!!! Not much longer for us........

Hi everyone, good to hear you're all hanging in there. Toni1 - my bub is often all over on one side too. Looks really freaky doesn't it? There must be something about my right side that is more comfy. I remember it happening with my little girl too, now I'm wondering if this one is a girl, mmmm fingers crossed. It's starting to get cold here now, I'm in Australia so mine will be a winter baby. Julie, it's no good that you're still getting sick. I hope that stops for you very soon. Good luck with the scan, I have another on 27th and am looking forward to seeing bub at that stage of development. Happyme, how's your daughter going? You will be a busy lady when the bub comes, but what joy! Do you know what you're having? Miraclebaby - everytime I feel a strong kick I want to pull my shirt up and have a look, I love to see the movement too. And Fairfax, welcome. I'm 40 too. Your children must be excided to be having a baby in the house - congratulations. Talk to you all later

I forgot to ask - I get a sort of tightening in my tummy that I really don't remember from last time. I wonder if it is braxton hicks contractions. It doesn't hurt at all, just makes my stomach feel really tight to touch. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Kathy, sounds to me like it is, I feel them all the time with this baby. It will just get really hard at times, personally when I walk it will happen . Glad to hear that you are doing well. take care & good luck. Oh- it was 97 yesterday here and I do not know how I am going to get through this summer lol, lol, Live in the pool and the house thats it.!!! Take care

Hi ladies, Had my appt. today and everything is well, they said my next appt. is 3 weeks then after that , every two !!! Today he told me I am measuring further along than what I am and he wants to watch me, he said she is going to be a big girl. I quess that explains why everyone tells me I am big or are you sure there is one??? Anyone else have this happen to them??? Anyways take care and stay in touch and let me know how all of you are doing , I love to read about you. Oh, 19 lbs total so far>>>>take care

Hi Miraclebaby, good to hear your appt went well. I saw my ob at 28 weeks and she said I was measuring 30. I wonder how accurate it is. I remember I was spot on with my measurements last time. She said when I'm closer to my due date she will estimate the birthweight. She was exactly right last time, 3.6kg.

Hi all...glad to hear everyone is doing so well. Kathy: I want to do the same thing when my little one moves - pick up my shirt and watch her. When I'm out in public, I just put my hand where she's moving, I told my hubby this morning that I wished my belly was transparent so I could see what she's doing in there! lol
Miraclebaby: glad to hear your appointments are going well - it sounds like you're going to have a big girl (although I hope she's not too big - my sister and my mom both had babies in the 10lb range). I, too, have been getting the questions...are you sure you are having just one and when are you due (with a worried look from store/restaurant workers who think that I'm going to have the baby at any minute)! I get a good chuckle at some of the looks. I'm up to a 20lb weight gain now. I can't believe how much I worried about not gaining enough weight in the first & second trimesters. Julie: Sorry to hear you are still having probs with getting sick...I can definitely sympathize. Let us know how it all goes at your 30 week u/s.

Hi all, I've had my scan this morning. I'm almost 31 weeks and the good news is that the cyst on the brain has gone, as they expected it would. I feel better about that now. The only thing is that they told me I have too much amniotic fluid. I wonder now if that is why I am measuring bigger on the fundal height. I have an ob appt on Monday morning, so I'll see what she has to say. I feel that all I do is worry about this baby. On a happy note, I saw the most beautiful facial profile on ultrasound and it brought tears to my eyes. I'm very sooky today. How did you go Julie?

Kathy, I am so happy for you, I also did read that too much fluid can be the cause of measuring big?? Let me know what they say on that I am curious to know, glad everything went well with the tumor. :) :) :) :)

Kathy: Glad to hear the brain cyst is gone in your little one. Let us know what they tell you about having too much fluid. I had my appointment today (as well as u/s). Luckily, all seems to be progressing as it should and I probably won't have an more u/s. My little one is measureing around 34 weeks and weighs about 5lbs now. I still worry about something going wrong, but I don't let it overwhelm me as much as I did. All we can do at this point is try to think happy, positive thoughts and hope for the best!

Hi, had my ob appt this morning. She did not seem overly concerned about the fluid level, but she did say she would probably send me for another scan later to keep an eye on it, but I don't have another appt with her for three weeks so it wont be until after that. She told me not to worry, said I'm now measuring 32 cm at 31 weeks so that's good. Also, we wouldn't have known this had I not had an extra scan for the cyst, so.......I'm not worrying. Everything looks good.

How is everyone doing and feeling these days??? July is right around the corner and I am excited as can be. My baby girl, which we have not named yet because Mommy and Daddy can't agree on a name, is kicking me and turning all the time... I have started reading up on b___stfeeding -- since I plan to give it a try. How about the rest of you?
