Getting Pregnant At 40

hi, i am 40 this month, married and now would like to get pregnant but concerned about a number of things i have high blood pressure. i have fibrods if get pregnant, i am afraid of having a baby with health issues. what or how should i appraoch this?

you can't worry about the future or the time will just pa__s you by.So many women over 40 are having healthy babies ALL the time. Try to get pregnant..do all the things necessary like charting your cycles, taking your basal temp,using opks and time your intercourse..also get some minor fertility tests done like fsh and a pap or ultrasound. Talk to your doc about keeping your bp in check. Consider getting your fibroids removed or atleast monitor them as they can change from cycle to cycle. If you are in moderately good health you should have no problem..but time is of the essence..good luck to you..and take charge of your fertiltiy.. btw I had my first at 39 and my second at 42. :)
