Im just got a BFP today. Total surprise! Im 42 yo, have a 4yo gorgeous son, and have had 3 m/c, most recently in July. SOOO, im a little guarded..but feel a twinkle of joy. I got my blood drawn and went directly to the hospital chapel to say a prayer! DH is outa town, not gonna say anything until he gets back. He's gonna be freaked..and more guarded than me.

that's so wonderful! big congrats!!!!!i called my RE about my faint BFP today - she said come in for a blood test tomorrow. how many days post ovulation were you when you got BFP. i'm still only 10 dpo.

iamp, Im not sure how many days post..I havent been keeping track b/c I thought we were done trying.!! Im 4 or 5 days past my missed period. The line on the pg test was the strongest I ve ever had!! Total shocker there. How old are you?

Anyone else get a BFP recently? I got my blood levels back, prog. is 24.5. I guess thats good..I figure Im early at 4-5 weeks. I have a sorethroat and headache today...DS4 doesnt have school on Thur/Fri..and DH is outa town..so the days have been Loooooong.

having had a few early losses, i decided to wait and keep home testing over the weekend if i can stand it! faint bfp equate fmu. for me my bbt is my best indicator for impending loss. i have dry cough and low back ache. i was suddenly very emotional today - i had to nap it off. while we're waiting for other bfp's, what other symptoms did you get close to the bfp.

I understand your caution. I am too v. v cautious. Well, for once I had no early symptoms, other than what I thought was PMS. But then I realized i was a few days late, so took the test on a fluke. All the times we tried and tried and I took like 50 tests btwn 2ww and AF!! And all the times I held the test right up to the light to try and see faint BFP!! A BFP is BFP... Are you gonna get your blood drawn.? I had history of low prog. the last few times, but they dont know if thats why I actually m/c. I do have a sore throat and headache. Am very very thirsty and peeing alot. But that could all be b/c the air is dry. Gosh who knows. GOOOD LUCK. I have to decide how to tell DH. He is totally unsuspecting...Im prob. gonna have to give him CPR..lol.

have you worked out your due date? mine is July 31 if i get that far.

Mine should be July 20th. You are early...im sure thats why the faint BFP..hang in there. In another few days Im sure you will get a nice big fat line! Are you gonna call OB on Monday?

strangerooni! bbt 98.7 yet when i got up i had a glop of brownish red. i decided it must be AF & moved on. checked soon after - inserted a tampon for an hour & checked it - all clear. It could be AF (probably right) or the blast burrowing deeper & rupturing something. probability is high for AF. i'll check in later.

Iampg, You DID get a faint BFP right? From my understanding ANY line at all means positive. My last few started out light, when I tested a few days b4 AF...and got darker. You should just go to OB and get blood work on Monday, put your minde at ease. When was your AF due?

Hi there, Hope yuo don't mind me popping in...... when I had my 3 kids my lines were so faint I could barely see them and for that matter my dh couldn't even see them-lol. I line is a line- Congrats. I am ttcing my 4th for the past 7 months and am now 5 dpo and in the tihick of the wait. I conceived my first 3 just like that, first month and am no having a very very hard time. I am 37.5 yrs old and my youngest is 3 yrs old. Good luck! I wold have an July date i think, either july 31 or aug 1. Lets hope I can say that!

If I'm pregnant my due date will be like July 25. I am turning 41 on Dec. 1st.

Well, July 2007 would be me. I'm day 33 of my monthly cycle, so I took a pg test this morning. I really didn't expect it to come up positive this month. I thought we missed the right time. A part of me remains in disbelief - and I don't want to get my hopes up either. I'll be 37 on Wednesday (Nov. 22) and this is my FIRST pregnancy!
