I keep reading about loss of symptoms being indicative of m/c. I am 8 1/2 weeks and feel like my morning sickness and general digestive problems have mysteriously disappeared over the last couple of days. My br___ts are still sore and swollen, though I think maybe not as sore as they have been.
I am 38 and this is my second pregnancy--first was a b/o at 12 weeks. We got a 6 week ultrasound this time and were able to see a heartbeat, but I'm still worried about the potential for something to go wrong.
Any advice? Anyone have symptoms come and go?
thanks!

at about 18 weeks, your morning sickness is supposed to disappear, this is normal. I think this rule you mentioned applies for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. I don't think you have to worry. Good Luck!

I had the same thing happen, too - morning sickness disappeared, abruptly (with still-sore b___bs). I called my OB's nurse line and the nurse with whom I spoke said that often (and despite what we all read on on-line sources), morning sickness symptoms can disappear as suddenly as they first appeared. I'm still concerned as my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at six weeks, but her words were rea__suring to me, and I hope they are a bit to you, too. (And yes, she also said that morning sickness symptoms can come and go.) I, too, have had a positive U/S, with heartbeat and movement at 9 weeks LMP…

thanks j! I suddenly feel terrible again, so I'm trying not to worry! It seems ridiculous that I feel better emotionally when I feel worse physically, but that's how it seems to be going for me. I'm going to try to just be thankful for good days and not see them as a bad omen. Good luck with your pregnancy! It's nice to hear from other women with similar experiences.
