Hopeful and excited - October 11

Hello all! lovemy3 - so sorry to hear about the OPK confusion. Try not to think about the whole menopause thing and concentrate on the positive as much as you can. Also - stick with what you said about going for a check up if nothing happens this month and don't lose hope! I'm still rooting for you and KD! My update - the backache has got a bit better today. I wonder if I "pulled" something the other day - to be honest I had a huge giggling fit and could have easily pulled a muscle then and that might explain why my back hurts!! LOL!! My only worry at the moment is that I seem to have a recurring sensation (not really a pain - more of a feeling that something's "there") in the right side of my abdomen just above my "bikini line". Does anyone else have this and is it something to worry about? I can't feel it all the time but it does keep coming back for VERY short bursts and it's making me feel rather uptight which makes it even harder to sleep than I'm already finding it!! I'm also not sure whether the giggling fit has aggravated it or something. I wonder if it's related to bowel movements (or rather lack thereof? tmi - LOL!!!) or could it simply be round ligament pain? I've also noticed an occasional increase in egg-whitey mucus which seems a bit strange. I've only noticed it once and wondered if this could be related to the slight constipation I feel. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows what the heck I'm talking about!! LOL! Thank you all for your support. Hope you're all well - post your updates soon!! TTYL!! Big Hugs and Belly Rubs to all!

Hi Hopeful..thanks for the encouragement. About you pain above the bikini area. I had that all thru each pregnancy and it was ligament pain. Don't worry about that. And the EWCM, I also had with EACH one and went to the dr's numerous times worried and they even tested upon my request for am. fluid and it was nothing, just like dr said. I had tons of it the whole time. So far all sounds normal. Glad to help whenever I can. I bought more OPKs and the tell tale sign will be in the a.m. I couldn't possibiliy have a 4 day surge. hugs to all, and my chin is up once again!lol.

Thank you thank you thank you!! I feel really rea__sured now. I'm so glad that we can reciprocate support and even happier that you're feeling more positive again. I have a good feeling about this month for you even though it's been a confusing one for you!! I'm wishing for it to happen for you soon!! Talk to you again tomorrow - I'm off for a well-earned rest now. Byeeeeeeee!

SANN - October 12

Hello all : ) Wow !!! Part 2 already : ) I read all the posts from our old thread ... Boy! I missed out quite a bit these couple of days. HOPEFUL *** Don't worry about those ligament pain .... I've got them too and as for the "Sticky EWCM" ... I noticed it on a few occasions too. LOVEMY3 *** Glad to hear you're feeling more positive : ) Don't worry about the faint lines you get from the Opks ... as long as you do get a positive you're right on track. Those faint lines ... can be due the amount of liquid that you had taken prior to testing and also it depends on when you test for LH ... if you test in the mornings it tends to be lighter as compared to testing in the evenings/nights, hope this helps. It's possible to have a surge 4 days in a roll ... happen to me a couple of time when I was totally stressed with work. According to my Chinese physician this could be due to stress causing the egg to be released later than expected. Since you have 3 kids ... I'm sure you're pretty busy. COL *** How's things with you? When will you be having your u/s? VAL *** So exciting ... your doc took baby's heart rate : ) Up till now, we haven't had our little beans' heart rate taken yet : ( I should ask my ob/gyn if it's a norm to measure the heart rate. Is it norm for you girls? Sorry about the incident with "the guy" : ( We haven't told anyone about this pregnancy expect for my parents, in laws and my sister. We'll probably wait till after amnio (result). As for NT screening ... we're going to discuss it with my ob/gyn on our next visit on the 20th (which is week 13) for an opinion. How are you feeling? Has the nausea been bad? TRACY *** Sorry you're still feeling tired and unwell : ( RE: The stuffy nose ... it's still here every night : ( How's yours? RE: Vanishing Twin .... My girlfriend had a vanishing twin last year, it's was baddddd! She bled for weeks ... on and off and throughout the whole pregnancy. Well ... she delivered a baby girl(remaining twin) this May @ 32 weeks pre-mature via c-section (emergency) due to the recurring bleeding. And baby is doing fine right now. So don't worry ... you're doing fine : ) Hope you'll be off bedrest soon : ) KD *** How are you doing? My updates .... I doing better today ... headaches are almost but m/s lurking. Having been hungry much and eating less than usual. I'm still on progestrone. My ob/gyn had me on prescribed vits, extra folic acid, iron and calcium. This week is week 12 for me ... can't wait till Sunday for week 13 to begin : ) Baby to dust and belly rubs ....... TTYL : )

Hi Sann! How wonderful to hear from you! You sound like you are doing awesome..hard to believe you are approaching 13 weeks! I can't believe it, it seems like just yesterday you got your BFP! I hope your headaches will clear soon. How much longer on the progers? It is the norm in Canada to hear the heartbeat at each visit, yes. So glad to hear all is well, keep us updated. Not much to report here. Happily this a.m I am back to NO surge which eased my crazy, over a___lysing mind-lolol and puts me back to normal again. We are on CD18 and we bd again this a.m. We started out only going to bd every other day then with all the surges in a row we kept bding. Hope it wasn't too much for dhs count. Anyhow, hope everyone has a great day. Thanks for all your encouragement yesterday when I was feeling so blah. looking forward to a great day of optimism as I begin my 2ww. hugs XOXO

Hi there Sann! So glad your headaches have been explained and that you're feeling better (that smog sounds ghastly!!) Also thanks so much for your rea__surance about my silly worries. It makes me feel so much better to know that other people feel the same as me!! Are your pains like intermittent jabs in the abdomen (sometimes on the left and sometimes on the rightside)? That's what it feels like for me. In response to your post about NT vs amnio on the other thread - I know exactly how you feel about being torn between the two. I am also concerned about a false positive and the extra worry it might bring but am trying to look on the bright side for once and, therefore, hoping for a good enough ratio result that I can avoid amnio. However, if there's any doubt at all I will go ahead with the amnio afterwards as that test is free. Anyway, I'm off to go swimming now to see if that helps to stretch out my back somewhat. Hope everyone is well today! TTYL!

One more question Sann. When is your EDD? I'm confused as I thought I was 10 days behind you and I'm in week 12 this week and week 13 begins for me on Sunday. Have I got my dates mixed up?

KD - October 12

Hello All, Glad to read all of these posts. It's really nice to have this site to rea__sure us. How did we manage before the internet? Lovemy3, my opk's say NOT to use 1st morning urine or after drinking a lot of fluids. I wonder if that's what has caused the confusion. Is anyone else having trouble remembering everybody's story? I wish I would have taken notes on all of you (where you live, kids, med. history), or maybe it's just me. Ever since I had my DS I've been so ditzy, I hope I haven't scared all you 1st time preggers. I'm just so glad I'm not a doctor, I'd be scared for my patients how scatter-brained I am. I think I've pushed out all of the important info in my brain to make room for Wiggles Songs & the name of every Thomas the Tank Engine train ever made! Have a great day. Feel good!

lovemy3 - October 12

Hi Hopeful, My pains were like little jabs, almost like ovary pain I thought. Enjoy your swim! KD, I wonder why they do n't say first morning urine? Anyone know why? Gosh, if I go by the sticks from the afternoon, I haven't ovulated at all yet. Now I'm really confused. Also, my story: 37 yrs old ttc#4, from ontario, canada. Thats about it. Where are you from?

Hopeful and excited - October 12

Hi again! Just went all the way to the swimming pool and it was closed for the day due to a "work outing"!! Nice of them to give us some notice - I was only there on Tuesday and no note to say they'd be closed. What a bummer!!! Anyway, I came back home and did some pre-natal yoga which at least has given me some feeling of energy again. (I still prefer swimming as it makes me feel weightless!) Anyway, all is well and no pains after or during the exercise so I don't think they're anything to worry about. Now I'm hungry!!!! Off to eat ASAP!!!LOL! TTYL!

lori ann - October 12

Hello my name is Lori Ann, and I am 10 weeks pregnant with twins... I am so excited because this is my first pregnancy... I had the first ultra sound on oct. 6th, and it was so exciting to hear both heartbeats... The doctor said everything looks great... Sometime I think this is all a dream because my husband and I have been trying for 10 years, and finally, we are pregnant... We are so thankful... Hello, Hopeful and excited last week I had egg-whitey mucus and my doctor said it was perfectly normal, and not to worry and then at Fridays appt. he confirmed that eveything was going perfectly.... The presssure you are feeling in your lower area is your Uterus stretching... Once again it is normal for some pregnancy's... I was wondering, to this date I have no morning sickness, I only feel tired all of the time... Sometimes I don't even feel pregnant... It is so weird, LOL.... Well everyone have a great day and I will talk to ya'll later... Congrats to eveyone....

lovemy3 - October 12

Welcome lori ann and congrats. How exciting, you must be elated. There is another woman on this thread who is also pregnant with twins.(tracy) Welcome and glad you found us. I am 37 and ttc#4. All of us started out ttc together and all have gotten pregnant except for myself and KD, we have been trying under 6 months now, using nothing so far. So thats the history here. Nice to meet you and congrats again.

Hopeful and excited - October 12

Hello there lori ann! So glad you came over here to share your news. The guys (gals?) on this thread are "fabuloso" and such a huuuuuuuuuuuge support and comfort to me. I'm sure they will be for you too! The nice thing is that someone always checks in every day and so you always feel like someone's listening when you want to talk. Great stuff!! Thanks again for your rea__surance about the EWCM - I feel quite OK about it now and not worried anymore about the jabby pains either (I don't even think I can cla__s them as pains really to be honest - just very CLEAR sensations!!) Wow - 10 years trying to conceive!! That is incredible that you've had so much patience. Well worth the wait though as you're going to have an instant family. You deserve it!! And no morning sickness - that's fantastic!! Don't wish it on yourself!! I've also been lucky in that respect but I think Tracy (who is also expecting twins) will be very jealous as she's been suffering pretty badly. I'm sure she'll be sharing loads of stuff with you as you're probably not far off the same date as each other. Anyway, as usual I must go so that I can stuff my face - huuuuuuuuuungry again!!! Trying to restrain myself but sometimes food just tastes so goooooooooooood! LOL!! TTY all L!!

lovemy3 - October 12

An update on my ovulation drama-lolol. remenber how my usual o day is cd18, well its cd18 and now I have literally tons (about 2 tbsp) of EWCM, all this just happened on CD13 and 14. Is it possible to surge twice? It is like a repeat 2 days later. I also have buckle over type of cramps and feel like I'm ovulating again for sure. The unfortunate part is we have bd every day since 14, so I have no idea what to expect as far as sperm count, but I guess we have nothing to lose, to do it again tonight. I don't want to wait with all this EWCM. My dh will think I'm nuts, cuz I keep telling him "now is the definate time". And that was 4 times ago-lol. Is it posssible to have 2 ovulations occur? I have never seen such a thing and this has definately never happened to me. You guys must think I'm a nut with all this drama this week! Hugs XOXO

Hopeful and excited - October 12

I have no idea whether two surges are possible but GOOOOOOOOOOOO FOR IT GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What have you got to lose - except a little energy perhaps!!!!! LOL!! Enjoy it and make it count!! Can't wait for some more good news from you!!!! TTYL!
