hi all... LM3 - 12 lbs - that's awesome! Way to go! COL, glad you are feeling better today... the first tri is especially hard after a m/c... just keep taking it one day at a time and visualizing meeting your healthy baby in a few months. BM5 and LB - thanks for the braxton hicks descriptions. I think I may have had one or two in my sleep (after a very good dream ;-) but nothing else so far, which is fine with me. TTC#3 - I'll try to keep my b___bs tucked away ;-) TRACY - looking forward to your update later today. HOPEFUL, I love it when the baby kicks and especially when I can see those kicks! DH is always laughing at me in the evenings when the baby is active - if we are watching a movie or tv, I'll pull up my shirt and watch my stomach instead! Doctor visits were good yesterday. Got a new iron supplement (hopefully less harsh than the old one), heard the heartbeat (still in the 140s and very easy to find now) and had the "fundal height" measured for the first time. It was measuring 3 weeks ahead, which the doctor thinks might be due to the uterine fibroid. I guess she'll know more when she does another measurement in 3 weeks. And I'm moving up to appts every 3 weeks. Don't know the glucose test results yet, but keeping my fingers crossed. Oh, and she referred me to a physical therapist for the ligament pain. That's the scoop. Woke up to snow this morning, but it's all melted now. Ligament pain is really bugging me today, I think because I drove our truck a ways this morning. Pondering cancelling my lesson scheduled for 4pm... I just think it's going to make me even more sore to drive all the way there... Hope everyone has a great day and that we get some more BFPs very soon...

Well, my ultrasound went well. My cervix has lengthened a little from 1.8 to 2.2. Still short by their standards, but apparently bed rest is helping, so it must continue. Had the 3D/4D done. My wee-one has my chin (I have a cleft) and DH's puffy lips (Thank God). He is going to create a webpage, so I'll let you know when that is done. At one point, she also had one leg completely extended so her foot was above her head! The U/S tech mentioned that my amniotic fluid level is a little high, which can also be an indicator of GD, but she said it's not too bad at this point. I am going to do that d__n 3 hour glucose test on Monday, but am changing my diet anyway, because I don't want to wait to find out I have a problem. I have a question. If you press on your stomach about three inches above your belly b___ton, does it feel bruised or painful? Mine does today, just thought I'd ask if any of you have ever had that before. Our house hunt has wound down a little since we are waiting for DH's parent's house to sell and I am on bed rest, but we made another appointment to go see the house we really want tomorrow with his parents. I don't know why, but I just love this house, and when I go tomorrow I will take a pic with my digital camera and post it on my maymommies site so you can see it. The neighborhood reminds me of main street at Disney World where everything is clean, manicured, and picturesque. I know that sounds a bit contrived, but I like it because it feels orderly and promotes a sense of calm and serenity. Our dream is to make millions and build our ideal home somewhere else, but for now, we'll stick to the contrived, perfect suburban neighborhood!!!

Tracy - I'm glad to hear about the cervix measurements and the 4d u/s (how cool that you got to see her in such detail!) Maybe the doctor can take you off bedrest soon? Did they have any predictions? re: bruised feeling - I've gotten a a bruised feeling about 2 inches out from my belly b___ton - once time on the left side, and another time on the right. It went away after a day and I never figured out what it was. Good luck with the GD test. I'm still waiting on my results. The doctor had found some potential indicator of it early in pg but I pa__sed the initial test (I think it was around 11 weeks?) Hoping you pa__s yours with flying colors. And I hope everyone has a good weekend...

Thanks Val, ironically the pain is gone today, so it probably was the same thing you experienced. I put up 3D ultrasound pictures from yesterday on my maymommies site. Go to maymommies(dot)piczo(dot)com and click on Tracy88.

Hello ladies, Tracy, she is so cute, one of my dreams is to have a baby with a chin cleft, believe it or not , when I sow the pics, I realized how worth it what you went through, I know you had a tough pregnancy. I am glad that the bed rest helped with your cervix. Val, happy to hear you are doing well. TTC#3, any news from your side? LM3, what about you? please update. LB, thanks for your kind advice, I really appreciate it, I am praying for you and your baby to meet when the right time comes. BM5, thank you so much for the encouragement, I did not know that you had a M/C before this one, I am glad you and your baby are doing well, you are such a sweet heart, you always impress me how full of live you are despite the hard time you went through. Hopeful, how is going with you? I always say you are the dynamo after LM3 for this thread. My updates, nothing really here, I am trying to follow your advice, take one day at the time. My husband is so supportive, but I know for sure that he is hoping that this one will stick, he can’t wait to go for a motorcycle ride with his kids, the other day I went shopping, and I bought a pair of socks with Harley Davidson logo, and Born to ride written on them. They are so cute. I pray that god with give us the chance to use them. We are moving to the new house May 16, it’s getting there, it’s a gorgeous house, I love it. We added lots of upgrades to it to make it ours. If you are interested to take a look at the model, this is the link. Hi Tracy - just wanted to say that the 3D pics are fabulous. Definitely your chin and your dh's mouth. How incredible to be able to see so much detail and how thrilling - I'm really jealous!! Re. your pain above your belly b___ton - glad it's gone away and it makes me think it's similar to what I have sometimes which I put down to the baby being in an awkward position which puts pressure on your insides. Nothing to worry about I'm sure. Hope you're feeling less weepy today - did you go and check out the house again? That'll definitely cheer you up! And, of course, the bedrest seems to be working so you must be feeling better about that too. Stay chilled out as much as you can. I know it's hard but it's worth it. TTC#3 and lovemy3 - any news? Hope it's good! Lovedblessings - hope you're feeling better today and the pain has eased. Re. the hard stomach - I have that quite a lot when I've just eaten and I've been standing or walking for a while. There's no real cramps with it though - just the same feeling you get if you've eaten too much on Christmas Day!!! LOL!! So far they haven't recorded any contractions though when I've been at the doctor (mind you, they only measure that when I'm lying down) so I hope there's nothing to worry about. I'll mention it at my next appointment on Wednesday. BM5 - I know what you mean about the pleasurable pain. That's exactly how I'm trying to approach the whole thing. Every time I get an ache or a pain now I practise my breathing techniques for labour. Very useful and positive. Hope you're feeling better today and that the pt is being eased somewhat by a pampering session this weekend. Relax and enjoy!! Val - I'm obsessed with watching my stomach too. TV pales in comparison doesn't it? Good to hear that all was well at the doctor's too and that you've got a referral for the ligament pain. What a relief! 3 weeks early, eh? That's quite a difference. When would your EDD be if that turns out to be correct? Keep us posted! Col - great to hear you sounding more positive. Keep the happy vibes coming!!!!!!!! *********** Well my news is that I went out with my shower organiser today and we got some decorations for the party and all the food stuffs that don't need to be bought at the last minute. Very exciting. After she dropped me off at my house, I immediately went out to buy her a thankyou gift - she's planning on moving to a bigger appartment with her soon-to-be husband so I got her a voucher for a popular furniture store and also a little incense burner from an ethnic shop in town (so something useful and something personal which I thought would be best). That made me feel good. Anyway, DH is cooking dinner this evening so I'm able to relax which is lovely so the day is just getting better and better! Hip Hip Hooray!! L OL!! Hope you're all doing well too! TTYL XOXOXOXOX

Oh, I just got home and read through the posts.....COL, hope things are ok. The fact that there is no cramping or pain is a good sign, but we will be waiting patiently to hear from you. I bled at 10 weeks and everything was ok, so I'm hoping that's all you are going through. Please know that we are here thinking of you and hoping for the best. I checked out your home and really love it. Take it easy and post when you can.
