Ok... first of all I would like to say "hi!" - second... I think you are some brave women to bare your bellies! LOL At some point on this thread, several weeks back, I saw a reference to a website that defined all the abbreviations used. I've figured some out and some make me say "huh?" Would anyone mind pa__sing that info along to me again? I am 23wks and having a girl due June 8. It is my second, I have a dd3 now. Hope you don't mind if I join you. Thanks!

Welcome and congrats on your baby being due in June. I am ttcing my 4th and waiting patiently for a BFP (Big fat positive). Glad you could join us. TTC, Sorry I don't know a single thing about temping. My kids still wake often in the night and I am up and down so it just wouldn't be reliable for me to do. Hopefully someone else can shed some light. hugs.

Hi everyone, back from the weekend. I hate going back to work. On Friday, we got bonuses, which was great. I actually got to buy some maternity clothes this weekend (2nd hand store of course) and I also bought my first boy baby clothes-how exciting! I definitely like knowing what I'm having. I do feel closer to the little guy now. My pelvic bone is really bad today, and it's either from all the shopping on Sat, or all the b-ding me and dh were doing over the weekend (of course, he says it must be from shopping-lol). Either way, I'm taking a break from both for awhile. I did get a p.t. appt from the last clinic I tried and they were able to get me in on the 20th. So when I got my bonus, my boss said that my work performance is excellent, but that they'd like to see me make up my hours from all my appts! I don't know if I can, I'm already so tired all the time. And now I had to tell him that I have my genetic u/s on Mon-19th and pt. on Tue-20th, back to back appts. I hate having to choose between taking care of me, my baby and family and working! It just should not be that way. Dh says I feel too guilty and shouldn't worry about it. Welcome and congrats!!! Punkin-you're due on Jun 6th, right? And now we're back to 4 girls, 4 boys. and 1 unknown. I'll post everyone's due dates, genders for you after this post, so it'll be easier for you to follow along where everyone is at. Tracy-I think you gave us a site for the abbreviations? and congrats on looking for a house. It'll be such a relief to get into a new place before baby!!! Sorry to hear about your back not feeling better, perhaps you should give acupuncture a try as TTC suggested earlier? Punkin-what a mess-poor dh. I would say making him a nice dinner would be good, maybe something s_xy while you're serving it-lol-but you all know my b-ding life, so that might just be what I would do-lol. Hopeful-sounds like you've been pretty busy lately. Hope you're able to have fun w/family and friends that are there. Sounds like you have a great valentines day planned too. We have kids this week, so I'm not sure what we'll do. And 15 yr anniversary--congrats to you guys!!! Val-I wonder if your pelvic pains are the pubic symphysis separation-like what I have. Most days it feels like I'm having a pap smear that never ends. It would be worth it to call the doc on it I think. It's terrible that we feel bad for asking about all these little aches and pains, when it is our bodies and just want rea__surance that everything is normal. Good luck, I hope it feels better. LB-I think c-sections in US are dependent upon doctors. I know a lot of people who had c-sections for their 1st ones and didn't even want to try to have them v____ally after that. I think that's crazy. I've had both and believe me, v____ally is the way to go. I have no idea why a women would opt for a c-section voluntarily. My first was c-section and my 2nd two were VBACs. And just for the record, I had an epidural with my 2nd child and I pushed him out in record time (according to the doc), so I don't think it has to slow you down. It wasn't until after I had him that I heard people say that if you have an epidural it's harder to push because of being numb. I thought, hmmm, I didn't have that problem at all. I think I pushed him out within an hour. When I had my 3rd it was the same doc and when I got to the pushing stage, he said, look out, she pushes them out quick and with my dd I didn't have an epidural but I pushed her out quick too. Once that baby gets in the birth ca___l, it's like having a large bm that you just want out (sorry for tmi!) and that was all I could think of, it just felt so uncomfortable in there, I just wanted it out and quick. So there's my birthing experiences. I'm all over that epidural, if I have time. With my 3rd there was no time, but I screamed for one anyways. Well, that's about all for now, sorry if I missed anyone. LM3-I did read some on the other post-it was great! Thanks for sharing it. I'll post EDD's below again.

Thanks for the welcome - I guess I should make sure everyone realizes the "baring bellies" comment came from the website at piczo.com. I've not been stalking anyone :-) LM3-Good luck on the BFP; I'll keep my fingers crossed. BM5-Glad you had fun shopping. My biggest thrill of my pregnancy (besides the obvious - the baby! LOL)was finding 2 pairs of brand new maternity jeans at JCPenneys for $6.49 a piece!! They had been 26.99, marked down to 12.99 and then they were 50% off. I am scrambling to find maternity clothes as I sold all the ones I had after my dd was born 3.5 years ago. I was not planning on having any more kids. My dd was a surprise after years of ttc (see, I'm learning! lol) and being told that I may not be able to. I never dreamed it would happen again. So everything went into the yard sale and now I am determined not to fork out more than $150 the entire pregnancy for maternity clothes. I've been a woman on a mission, let me tell you! lol! I agree with you on the v____al vs c-section birth although I've never HAD a c-section, I couldn't imagine dealing with all the other "stuff" that comes after the baby is born AND an incision. My epidural didn't slow me down either. In fact, I took over 4 hrs to dilate from 2-3cm ( I was induced due to low amniotic fluid levels) and when they started my epidural I went from 3-10cm in about 2 hours. I started pushing at about 6:55pm and Chloe was born at 7:20pm. I told her she had to be out before Jeopardy came on! Only time she's listened to me since birth! lol Where is everyone from? I've not been on this site very long, but I have figured out it has an international membership. I live outside of Louisville, KY.

Thanks Tracy - I could NOT for the life of me figure out AF. I knew what it referenced, but I would have NEVER come up with Aunt Flo, although I do remember calling it that when I was in high school. Well, I better get up and do something constructive. I had an unexpected "free afternoon" and I have been "playing" on the computer all afternoon. Time to get up and get busy! :-)

Hi Ladies, Hope everyone is feeling good! Have to say I'm going through a bit of a rough spot. Hormones are playing a major factor I know just having a hard time with the bedrest and trying to take care of my family at the same time. The tears have been just falling lately. Who know bedrest could be so exhausting!!! Tracy88 Could I borrow your cleanning ladies for a day or two. lol Good luck with your house hunting, what an exciting way to start your new life with your little one. Are you still hoping to stay close to your inlaws? TTC#335, thanks so much for the bananas tip it seems to be working. YEAH!! Punkin01 your husband sounds like a wonderful man who deserves a great Valentines! Hopeful and Excited I'm glad you were able to work you st_tch, it does feel like forever trying to work them out some times. Do you find swimming challanging at all? When we went on vacation I was six and a half months pregnant. By the time the snorkeling tour was half way through I was done in. Yep... I was a sinker, on the up side no one tried to harpone me! I love the water and can't wait to get back in the pool. My last boy was in the pool with me at 8 weeks, now he is a big fan too. Val, I'm gald you found a pediatrician 0000000 My son just woke up have to chat later.. take care

Lovedblessings, I'm sorry you are feeling so down. I see first hand how difficult it is to be bedridden to a certain degree since my sister has had 3 back surgeries in about 3 years. I feel so bad for her because there are times when she just gets "over" it ya know? Plus it just can't be easy having children. You are being torn in directions that you shouldn't have to bear. You love the children you have, but you have to love the child you are carrying as well. Hang in there, you know it will be worth it. I struggle every day with the thought of having to limit myself as well. After being up for an hour, my back starts to kill me, and it seems that the only people who understand how bad it hurts, are the doctors and physical therapists, not my family. All the same normal c___p is still expected of me and I just can't do it anymore. The pain pills are not working, so I am going to stop taking them altogether. My cleaning ladies are great. The only downfall is that they don't speak English and one of them vacuumed up some computer cables last time, and didn't tell me that the vacuum had cables all tangled in it!!!! She just left it like that. To top it off, DH had to go buy a new keyboard and headphones. Oh, and the funny thing is that yesterday she showed up with her own vacuum and still didn't try to say anything about the vacuum of mine that she left in a mess. So, I'm not sure you want them in your house actually. You can't handle the damage control right now! We are going to look at a house this afternoon that we think we want really bad. It is in the development across the street from my in-laws development. We have pretty much fallen in love with the neighborhood for many reasons, but the house is also one of the larger ones that has been reduced in price because the husband is relocating and they need to sell it quickly. The real estate market is pretty much at it's bottom here in Florida, so it is the time to negotiate and buy. They are building a Scripps Research Inst_tute here, so when that is done, the values of the houses are going to go back up. Wish us luck! Steph, enjoy those free afternoons. I have too many of them and it actually drives me nuts. I have no children (except cats), and I can't go to the gym or anything constructive, so I get bored. I thought it was so cute when you said you told your daughter she had to be out by the time Jeopardy started. To answer your question, I live in Jupiter, Florida. I am a Florida native and hate it now that I can't soak up the sun and run around half naked like I could when I was younger, so you WILL hear me complain about it. DH and I want to move out of state within the next five years, but for now his business has us tied down. I must say though, that of all the places I have lived in Florida, I like Jupiter the best, so at least I am in a good place. Well, have to go lay back down now. My back is hurting again.

Hey guys! Just wanted to pop on here and wish everyone a Happy Valentines's Day. I am leaving for San Antonio in the morning for a business meeting-hopefully the weather will be better than Louisville, KY! LOL Tracy, hope everything works out for you with the house. DH and I are thinking of building in a couple of years. We want to move to a better school district than what we are in now. Right before my dd3 was born, I moved 3x in about 18mo! I am not looking forward to it again, but with kiddo #3 on the way (I have a 11 yo ss who lives with us every other week) we have just outgrown our current home. I hope all of you with aches, pains and cramps are feeling better. I have been very fortunate that I have had 2 relatively easy pregnancies-well, so far! LOL The weirdest thing I have going on now is carpal tunnel syndrome. I had no symptoms prior to pregnancy and about 2 months ago I started waking up in the middle of the night and both arms and hands would be dead asleep. Now it has gotten to the point where my hands go numb while fixing my hair in the morning! They say it should go away after pregnancy and I really hope so. You would think with pregnancy being such a "natural" thing we wouldn't be subjected to so much difficulty! I am sending some pregnancy discomfort the way of all you ladies who are TTC-I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will be "whining" with the best of us in the next few months. :-) Well, I'm gonna jump off here and get my girl into the tub. DH took us out tonight for a VD dinner since I am leaving in the morning so I need to get her in bed or I'll have a monster on my hands in the am. Take Care!

Good Evening Ladies, Tracy88 sorry you are in so much pain still, it's funny you don't realize how much you use certain muscles until they are no longer cooperating. The pain is not funny at all though! Take it easy! So glad you understand! It's is so frustrating being on bedrest until I give birth. I know it is best for the baby but know I have more time on my hands tor worry about his kidneys. The real testing for him won'[t begin until after he is born since I am doing all the filtering for him until his birth. My oldest is pretty understanding although he does wish we could do more together. We are very close, which is so great! My little one crawls all over my stomach which can be very painful but I so love to cuddle with him. The baby kicks everytime he lays on my stomach. I can't believe your cleaning ladies didn't mention your vac_m. I would be lost without my computer, you must of been very frustrated! How was the house? did you see it today? Here's to getting a great price and being able to move in ASAP!

Steph, like I told Punkin in a previous post......go to the drug store and buy a wrist guard(s) and wear them to bed. Once the guards help with the regular numbness from sleeping, you should notice a difference in when you b__w dry your hair and put your makeup on. This can often take a week or two of wearing the guard(s) but it really does work. Then if they start acting up again, just put the wrist things on. I've been going through this for years, and it only acts up occasionally, but within the last few weeks mine has started acting up again. I feel like I am completely falling apart between my back and everything else! Hopeful, glad to hear all is well and company is enjoying their stay. Loved, I'm sorry you even have to worry about something like the baby's kidneys. That really must be tough. Well, I am going to email my realtor right now. I forgot to do so last night. I will pop back in later.
