Happy Valentines Day Ladies! For those of you trying to conceive wouldn't today be a great day for conception... well, any day would be a great day today just may be a bit more romantic. TTC# 35 the reason I asked you and Lovemy3 questions about conception was that when I read some of the threads I have to say some of the abbreviations are Greek to me! Cd 13, opk and elevated LH.. All Greek! There are a few sites that I have checked out trying to gains some knowledge about conceiving but I’m still feeling a bit lost! Some of the sites I’ve checked out trying to find how I conceived this little one without even having a cycle. Since my son was born the only bleeding that occurred was right after his birth. Three and a half months later I find myself pregnant again while I’m nursing. With numerous cysts on my ovaries my doctor was surprised when I conceived my last son. I just feel so blessed to have the children I have with this other little boy on the way Wow… what an incredible surprise. The only explanation that comes to mind is that fact that I was not trying which took a significant amount of pressure off! That or my DH swimmers have been electrocuted, which since he considers himself to be quite the handyman could be very true. Babymakes5 I have to tell you I have a great laugh when you described the sensation of pushing with an epidural. (large BM) When I had the epidural the nurse described the same kind of pressure which seemed odd considering my first it was all v____al pressure. Strange enough that is the sensation you feel. Like you I did not push for long. In fact the doctor told me slow down since he had to give me the episiotomy since my little guy’s heads was too big for the ca___l. Three or four pushes and he were out! Step115 Welcome to the group, hope you have a great trip! Tracy88 did you hear from your realtor? I hope you get the house by your in-laws. Col and TCC # 335 we are having a white one too, it’s so bad the kids are having the day off, my son was son happy he was almost doing back flips! Hopeful and Excited hope your having a great visit! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Ours is white too...and cold, brrrrr...had to help my dd make out her valentines last night and make brownies for her cla__s party. The other two are to "old" for that now, and this is her last year, she'll be going to the big middle school next year. Thank goodness I have another one coming to keep me young-lol. Steph, hope you have a safe, warm trip. Tracy-how's the house hunting going? I hope you guys find something soon that you really like. It should take your mind off all your aches and pains-lol. Hopeful-sounds like you're enjoying your company, hope all is well. COL-thanks for stopping in, I hope all is well with you! TTC#3, you must work close to home? I think if I could get away with it, I would sure love to stay home today. Yesterday I was so tired and last night I was tossing and turning all night. Morning comes around much too quick. I've been getting up to go the bathroom so much and last night I think I kept ignoring the urge, so when I finally realized it and went, my bladder stayed achy the rest of the morning. I think this baby is using my bladder as a punching bag, it's constantly getting kicked. I'm hoping he turns around soon and faces the other way-lol. Loved-glad you're hanging in there, I know it's not easy-but it will be so worth it. I feel bad too for not being as attentive to my kids as I'd like. My 16 yr old even accused me of not liking him anymore since I've been pg. I felt bad but we had a nice talk about it and I just keep hoping that after the baby's born, everyone will forget all the turmoils of mom's pregnancy. Better get some work done. I see what you mean now LovedB- the best time to TTC is obviously the day you ovulate but it varies from woman to woman. (usually day 14 if you have a 28 day cycle & you would really have to chart your temps for the correct day). If you want to conceive they say you can try 4 days before o & for good luck the day after. Getting pg will nursing is a toughy since you usually do not have a period.. you just one of the lucky ones. CD13 is cycle day 13, OPK is Ovulation Predictor Kit, LH it Luteinizing Hormone that happens after you ovulate. Any other ?s please ask. BM5 - I work about 20 mins with traffic but it is all straight driving.. no hills.. I hate the getting up in the middle of the night pee break!! I do that now & I aint pg. trying to take my temps & holding it in is a toughy.. I do take water pills though due to the vertigo I get alot.. so that dont help at all. I hope your talk with you 16 yo goes well.. it's hard to make everyone happy & take care of yourself as well.. being a mom is the toughest job out there. ttc3 - 6dpo (days past ovulation-Lovedb)

Babymakes5 hearts to hearts are great.. we are in the same boat! My 14 year old and I have had a few. When my son was born last year there were more than a few times when my son would say "Hey Mom I'm over here.. remember your other child?" He is great with him now, my little one is all rough and tumble. He loves to be chased by his big brother. It is amazing how are little ones seem to know just where are bladders are, not to mention when they are full .There really must be something to it! The choice to get out of bed to pee or lay in bed seems to be the choice of the babes these days. Just hope you don't sneeze on the way to the bathroom!!! LOL TTC#335 Thanks for the information, much clearer now. When we were trying (more than 10 years ago) all we were instructed to do is chart my temps. Eventual I was given some medication but the fear of multiples scared us away from staying on the prescription for too long! Will your temperature change if you have conceived? DO you still have to wait until a day past the time of your period to check if you are pregnant? I do remember reading (not sure where) that female sperm are faster swimmers but die first and males are slow and steady. Not sure how true that is. Here's hoping this is your month. Val, how are you feeling? are the aches any better?

BM5- Your temps once your ovulate rise & stay high all through pg. Some see a difference at the time of implantation & see a tri phasic temp which get slightly higher than the rest after o. But most dont see this. They say 18 high temp means your pg.. Some pg tests now say they are sensitive enough to test up to 4 days before af is due.. Female sperm are slower but more hardy than the fast sensitive male sperm. I also took Clomid for my last pg (9 years ago). I hope this is the month too thanks.

Morning people! Another loud night again here! This place sucks. I can't wait to move. There is going to be an art festival here this weekend too, so half the roads are blocked off and I can't even get out of here without having to take the long way out. I'm sorry, it's just a b___h when you haven't slept and then have roadblocks everywhere! I am NOT sleeping good at all these days. I thought it was bad a month ago, but it just seems to be getting worse. I won't mind when it's my baby waking me up, but the object here is to sleep as much as possible before the baby comes, which I can't do when partiers or motorcycles are waking me up in the middle of the night! If it were quieter around here, I'm sure I would be sleeping a little bit better. Even DH got woken up last night, and he sleeps like a rock. OK.......breathe.......... I'm done venting now. I am going to look at a few houses this afternoon with the realtor. I always love doing that. Well, I am going to lay down for a bit, my back hurts already. Hope you guys are doing better than I am at this point!!! TTYL

Good morning Ladies! TCC# 335 Thanks for the information, now I will be able to follow along. Some of the procedures doctors use to help you get pregnant seem to cost a fortune in the States. Not to sure what the cost are in Canada! My cycles have always been all over the map. Charting was something else when I tried. IT would be nothing to have a cycle then nothing for three months. One cycle lasted 13 weeks, the only way I could stop the bleeding was to have a D & C. It's amazing that you can find out your pregnant 4 days before your cycle starts. That would be the one that I would have to use since waiting is a huge problem for me. Once I knew I was pregnant I couldn't wait to know the s_x. Now that a boy has been confirmed I just can't wait to see what he looks like. We have a 4d ultrasound booked this weekend. Tracy88 sorry your back is still so sore, hopefully when the baby moves down it will take some pressure off. Vent away, I hope you feel better after. That is what we are here for. The noise would be hard to take. Hopefully you will find your dream home soon. Lie down and get lots of rest. Let us know how you make out with the realtor.

Brrrr its cold today! Tracy so sorry about all your sleeping problems.. like I said I am also trying to get outta where I'm at.. Its not the nicest of neighborhoods & I live in a row house which you can hear your neighbors snore at night! Fun Fun. so I know your pain.. not so much being pg & NEEDing your rest but the stupid noise.. Good luck house hunting! LovedB- Good luck with the 4d u/s.. I hope all is ok with your son. Yeah it is cool that you can test 4 days sooner BUT there always that chance that it wont come up + until the day af is to come.. I hate waiting BUT i hate being disappointed more.. so I wait.. pulling out my hair but I wait & af shows.. Was there a chance that you were pg & m/c before you had the d&c? TTC - 7 dpo - still feeling optimistic.. but looking for any stupid af sign!

hi all... it's my day off and I'm looking forward to lying around and reading. LB - yes, I'm still having those pains, especially when I go from sitting to standing, or when I sleep on my right side. I called the dr yesterday but haven't heard back. TRACY, sorry about your sleeping problems. I hope you can get out of there asap! How is the house hunting going? I loved looking at houses (and descriptions online) when we were looking 5 years ago. Sometimes I miss it and want to start looking again, but we love our farm and don't plan on moving for many, many years. LB - good luck with the u/s! I hope you get some great pics. TTC#3 - I'm crossing my fingers for you. BM5 - I know what you mean about waiting too long to pee... sometimes at night I just don't feel like getting up for the 3rd time! COL, glad you checked in.
