CHRISTA, I forgot to mention that yes, it is all FEAR. I am VERY comfortable as a 1child mother too, believe me! But you kow what, I think when we have our baby, we will wonder how could we have ever felt this way?? I really really do! It is change and I don't know about everyone else her, but I am AWFUL with any change in my life, so this is very scary for me too. I"m happy to talk with other woman walking in my shoes!!! :P Thanks!

MellyMel - March 29

Christa: I have a cousin that is from Phoenix! I am from New Hampshire. I love it here. It is so beautiful. Except for the winters; they suck. But fortunately we have had a good one this year, so I can't complain.

MellyMel - March 29

Quiet board today. I was hoping for lots of posts to keep me occupied. I seem to be having these panic/anxiety attacks that I can not seem to control. They are usually worse in the morning on days I do not work. I schedule a counseling appt for next week. This is just so unlike me to be this panicked. I wish I could just be happy, I also seem very depressed today. I have no idea if this pregnancy is even viable...I feel like I am d__ned if I do and Damned if I don't Going to nickname myself Taz...because I seem to be spinning like him. Hope to see more posts tomorrow. Good night ladies

christa0120 - March 29

oh and Kristin... Can't wait to hear about the U/S

MellyMel - March 30

CHRISTA~I'm sorry you are feeling so badly. I too suffer from anxiety attacks, but have been doing great for the last 10 years or so and have just come off all my med's maybe 2 months ago? Funny because this is the time we really need them!! I went for more bloodwork today to make sure my numbers are rising/doubling. Wish me luck! I feel pregnant, so I'm not too nervous, but when you are so early on you never know. Also, anyone else having severe gas problems?? My b___bs are still hurting, but thank GOD my nausea is not as bad as it was with my first pregnancy 7 years ago. Maybe this one is a girl??!! LOL. Or maybe it is just too early yet. I can't remember what week I started to get really sick(I should have kept a d__n journal) but I do remember that it all stopped miracleously my 13th week!! How is everyone else doing?

MellyMel - March 30

KRISTIN~how was your ultrasound?

christa0120 - March 30

kristen...still waiting to hear...we are living our pregnancies through you today...don't keep us waiting...lol

Perl - March 30

"Severe gas problems". . . umm yeah that would be me too. Last night I had to sit up in bed thinking I was going to get sick and all I had to do was let out a monster belch (louder than my dh's snoring). Can I even take Pepsid / Tums or Rolaids? I'm so paranoid about what goes in my mouth because it seems like the few people who do know I'm pregnant keep telling me I'm not supposed to drink coffee, eat chocolate, eat fish, I had to switch allergy pills and inhalers, etc, etc. I even tried to book a ma__sage and asked for a prenatal ma__sage person and she told me she refuses to touch me until my 2nd trimester! What's that about?! I have to wait 6 weeks to get my back and feet rubbed! It's better to be safe than sorry. Christa ("Taz"): at least you still have your sense of humor. I hope the counselor you're seeing next week is a good one. Don't allow your counselor to tell you it's purely hormonal or even mostly hormonal. If I had not seen a counselor after my miscarriage last year to work out the problems I had then, I have no doubt I'd be feeling more loopy than I already do right now. Hopefully your counselor will help you through this so that soon you can start enjoying this pregnancy more. Anxiously waiting to hear from Kristin. . . . I'm counting down--5 days-until my first ultrasound. MellyMel: good luck on your bloodwork! Give us an update.

Well i'm 35yrs old and is pregnant with my 3rd child, my baby will be 11years old by the time this one is born Nov. 16th. I'm 7wks and have been having problems bleeding on and off since Sunday. I've been to my doctor twice and they saw a heartbeart and said everything looked well and that some women do spot or bleed in early pregnancy. But i've been so stressed thinking i'm going to m/c. My husband has been very supportive and keeps telling me to leave it in God's hands. So i pray that the bleeding soon cease. Is anyone else having this problem?

Kristin - March 30

Hello Girls :)..Just got home! Sorry to keep you in suspense. Good news the fetus (very tiny) was seen 2.8 mm. I saw the yolk sac, the technician pointed it out ,and she also said she could see the heart beat as there was a flashing light. She did not intrepret the results but she did say the pregnancy was viable at this point. (gasp of relief). The results will be sent to my doc in 2-3 days. The bad news is I went to the gym this morning and after the cla__s I noticed some spotting again :( I also noticed more after the ultrasound which they did through the pelvic region and transv____ally as well. I am now wondering if overexerting myself has anything to do with the spotting?? My partner says I should not be doing aerobics when things are threatened.. however, the gyno yesterday didn't seem to think I should stop as I asked him about fitness..and he thought it was a good idea. I must admit I am happy the fetus is still alive at this point as you never know until you see it for your own two eyes! How is everyone else doing? And, yes I too was experiencing gas yesterday too..bizarre. Christa are you still spotting? I truly know what you are going through. Does it come and go, or is it constant ?or just a little when you wife here and there? Have you considered having an ultrasound before your 4/4 appointment or will you wait for the recquistion from you doc? Oh, I just wanted to tell you all I am from Toronto, Canada. I saw that Christa you were from Phoenix AZ, and MellyMel was from New Hamshire. Let me know how you all are doing too!! Relieved for now! P.S. Will anyone here be going for the 11-13 week prenatal screening test? The combined ultrasound with a nuchal fold reading and crl measurement plus blood work and your age to determine the potential risks. I did this with my last pregancy and I was considered high risk the Nt was 4.0..however they found no chromosonal problems when the fetus was tested after the fact... I am blabbing Talk to you all soon!! XO Xo Kristin dd Nov 21st/06

I am at work so I will need to keep this short... Kristen congrats on the HB! I have only spotted twice and both times were days I did my treadmill. ASo I am off the exercise kick for a couple of weeks until I know for sure things are "stuck" I am happy about the pregnancy too, please don't mistake my freak out sessions for more then what they are...LOL I will be better a few weeks down the line once I know or feel comfortable with pregnancy more. I won;t have an U/S before monday because it will probably be too early for the HB and why freak myself out anymore???? Just what we all need...me to actually have a real reason to freak! LOL Ok ladies...I'll post you you more wehn I get home....in the meantime please feel free to type away so I have something to read when I get there ;)

Perl - March 30

Hi aalexand! I know of some women that do bleed during pregnancy and it doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. The good thing is you saw a heartbeat! I am spiritual myself so I myself would have to agree with what your husband told you (leave it in God's hands). Listen to your husband and your Dr. too because stress is the worst thing you can do right now. ***BTW, I don't think I mentioned it before, I'm in California. ***It may be silly to be doing this so early but dh and I just discussed and sketched out combining our separate home offices into the room that is now my home office and converting his office into a nursery. I feel like I'm not allowed to get this excited because it's still too early so I'm not going to think about the nursery again for another month or so. Kristin: congratulations we're all relieved with you that you saw a heartbeat!!!
