I didn't feel flutters until I was a little over 16 weeks. I am now 22 weeks with my first and I feel stronger kicks. I didn't really feel the strong movements until about a week and a half ago. Everyone is different though. They say you can feel flutters as early as 16 weeks, but stronger movement won't be felt till usually 18-22 weeks. I am sure that everything is fine. Ask your dr if you are feeling really uneasy about it. I hope this helps a little!!

Billsgirl--with my first I did not feel anything until 17 wks. I am 17 wks pregnant right now with my second and began feeling the flutters about 3 wks ago, although they are not consistent. Some people do not feel anything until they are well over 20 wks. Is this your first?

i felt the flutters from 12 weeks, but didn't feel the strong stuff until i hit 25 weeks, so i wouldn't worry. especially if this is your first baby.

I am 19 weeks with twins and just felt the first movement yesterday. My dr told me most first time moms feel movement between 18 and 20 weeks. Congrats All. Cindy

I started to feel what I can only describe as bubbles in my tummy at about 17 weeks. It was until recently that I felt a true flutter -- and I am 22 weeks today. This is also my first pregnancy to get this far, and from what I understand, it's normal not to feel movement until later in the pregnancy. I have been worried that I have haven't experienced a true kick but was told I probably wouldn't until the 7 month or so.

I started to feel "flutters" when I was about 15 weeks, but it's not all the time. I'm 16 weeks 3 days and starting to feel them more in the morning. This is my first. I know it's not gas, because it's in one spot and I know what gas bubbles feels like. Don't worry. Each person is different. Good luck!

That may be just a little too early to be able to feel your baby's movements. Don't get discouraged like I was. I started feeling the flutters at around 19 weeks, and its just non stop from there. Good luck!

This is my first as wel. I didn't start to feel anything until 19 weeks. I have had sonograms so I know the baby is moving and that helped relieve a lot of my stress. I am now at 21 weeks and I still really only feel the baby in the evenings or early mornings. The thing that helped me through those non-feeling weeks was thinig that I may get a kick as a Christmas present (21 weeks) and then being really excited that it came earlier! A friend of mine didn't really experience anything until about 23 weeks. It will happen!
