21 Weeks And Baby S Movement Slow

At 21 weeks pregnant how often should the baby be moving? I have been feeling it on a regular basis for the last week and a half or so, sometimes much more than others. But since yesterday I have felt it VERY little.

Hi Beth, I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, I GO TO THE DOCTOR TODAY, I FEEL THE BABY BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I DID LAST WEEK,, I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED... JUST PRAY AND KEEP POSITIVE

I don't think there's much to worry about, like any other human being, you baby has up days when he/she feels like kickin up it's heels, knees, elbows and do a few cartwheels here and there, and it had it's down days, when it feels like sleeping, relaxing and just keeping quiet. Everyday is different for me, one day I'll feel the baby moving all day long, then the next day, I'll feel sporatic movements thoughout the day and the next I'll feel nothing and sometimes I'll feel nothing for a few days. Today for example, I haven't felt the baby once. I'm sure it's natural and there's nothing much to worry about.

Hi, I'm having the same issue. Last I felt the baby really move was yesterday morning in bed. Then in the car last night just 1 small kick. I havn't really felt anything since then and i'm starting to worry because the last big movements was over 24hours ago! when was the last you ladies felt something??? a little bit of caffine usually gets my baby going but I can a latte this morning and nothing yet!

Fruit makes my baby jump, especially pinapple, probably because it has a lot of sugar. I had a banana and a oatmeal raisin cookie for breakfast, plus my vitamin and I can now feel baby moving. I think baby also responds to your moods. If you're happy and having a good day, your baby will be happy and have a good day. Keep in mind tho, if your out and about, constantly busy or on the go throughout the day, you probably won't feel your baby move much, because your busy body kinda rocks the baby to sleep, so to speak. Or you're just too busy to notice any kicks. The best time to monitor any movement is after you've settled down (usually in the evening) Have a gla__s of orange juice before bed and lay in bed for awhile while reading a book or watching tv. You'll probably feel some kicks. Babies tend to move the most while you're relaxed and resting.

HI BETH, THE DOCTOR JUST SAY TO KEEP MOINTORING THEM MOVEMENTS, BUT WHEN I WENT TO THE DOCTOR TO HEAR MY POOH HEART IT WAS BEATING AWAY AND HE STARTED TO MOVE LIKE CRAZY :-) I GUESS HE DON'T LIKE TO BE DISTURBED WHEN SLEEP

Thanks Candie!! I will monitor them. I was up with my step son last night and an earache and as soon as I laid back down I think I felt baby move and I was like "oh great no the baby thinks I am up" haa haa. but I will watch for how often it does move!

Tara, mine was only a VERY small movement also, like I woke up and got up and laid back down and I readjusted the baby or something that was it :0(, I am keeping my hopes up too though!
