When does the 2nd trimester officially begin? I've heard different things?

I believe it begins at 14 weeks.

Starts at 14 weeks if you are counting on a 40 week pregnancy which starts on the first day of yur last period. If you are counting on a 38 week pregnancy which is 14 days after lmp then 2nd trimester starts at 12 weeks.
