I don't know about anyone else, but for me it seemed like my daughter was all over the place until the last couple of weeks, when she parked with her b___t stuck out just below my ribs. I'm 23 weeks pregnant with my 2nd, and the doctor hasn't mentioned what position my baby is in, but I feel kicks from all directions, and sometimes I can feel the baby curled up on one side of my stomach. I think there's still lots of time for your baby to shift positions. I've read also that the doctor can try pressing on your belly to shift the baby, they usually do this much closer to your due date. Also, I had a c-section and it wasn't as scary as you might think. my daughter was breech untill two weeks before delivery. she turned on her own and i delivered her with no problems. 25 weeks is very early to start to worry but if you are interested there are lots of ways to encourage baby to flip over.

Hi Dana. We found out my first daughter was breech around 8 months. We gave her about three weeks to try to flip on her own before we did the external version. I did these pelvic tilts that were recommended by my doctor and tried putting earphones on my lower belly to get her to flip. None of that worked, but the external version did (see thread in third trimester for info on that) and I had a v____al delivery. I think you're still pretty early to worry about it, though. I'm thinking I won't worry about position this time until the 8 month appointment. My other advice is to NOT do anything not expressly approved by your doctor to turn the baby. I had to go to a specially trained doctor for the external version (flip), but you shouldn't try to move the baby with your hands, as you could really hurt the baby.

I agree with the other gals, this is way too early to worry about this. My son was breech, and the doctor did an external version about 3 weeks before he was born, and he was delivered without problems. My daughter was breech too, and my doctor tried to flip her, but she wouldn't turn and so, my doctor scheduled a c-section for about 5 days later. I went into labor before my scheduled c-section, and she had turned, so I had her the old fashioned way. The thing is, she turned days before she was born, and I had no clue. She wasn't a small baby either, 8 pounds, 8 ounces. So, don't worry.

My son was breech, but I did not know until the day he was being born. The clinic I went did not give me a ultrasound, so when my water broke everyone thought I was going to have the baby, but he did not come. They was going to turn the baby, but found out his head was to big for my birth ca___l and I ended up having an emergency c-section. He is 12 and doing fine.

Don't worry. At 25 weeks your baby still has lots of room to move and will probably change positions several times. I'm 23 weeks and my baby is head down so far, but knowing my luck she'll probably flip over at the wrong time and cause problems. There are exercises you can do which can encourage the baby into the right position. They say you should lower your head to the floor and raise your hips up so they are higher and then wiggle your pelvis. I read it in a book, anyone tried it? Did it work for you?

Lissi-Tried it with no luck. Also, the doctor told me today that we would check for position around 34 weeks, confirm with ultrasound if necessary, and attempt version around 36.

YEAH YOU ARE STILL REALLY EARLY,BUT IF IT WAS STILL THE SAME IN THE END THE DOCTOR COULD EVEN TURN BABY AROUND AS LONG AS THE WATER BAG HASN'T BROKE
