Hi, we found out were having a boy last week. Were going through names and Evan came up. I really like it, but was unsure cause our brother in law just had a girl and named her Evelyn. Is it to similar for cousins to be Evan and Evelyn? Dorky?

I don't think so. If we have a girl, we've decided on Kaylynn even though she will have a cousin named Kaitlyn. We would just call her Kay for short. Is your baby, you can name him whatever you want. Think of those people named John Johnson & the like.

I just found out today we are having a boy and I don't have any boy names in mind. I do like Evan though. I don't think that it's dorky having an Evan when your brother in law has an Evelyn
