I had a nuchal ultrasound between 11-12 wks. My doc said I was at 11.5 wks according to my LMP but the ultrasound tech said 12.5 according to the baby's size. She said it looked like a girl but told me not to count on it cus it was so early. We really had our hearts set on a boy but I wonder how accurate she really was? I know she does these all day but everyone's telling me not to go by her findings. Anyone else have them tell them it's one thing to find out it's the other later on? Not that it matters, as long as it's healthy!

At 11-12 wks I don't think they can tell. I think I read somewhere it was 16 wks. I would ask your dr.

The s_x organs do not completely develop until the end of week 14 so all babies at 11 or 12 weeks look like they are girls.
