Belly Wrap Post Pregnancy Belly

I didn't know where else to post this. Has anyone ever used a belly wrap after giving birth? I saw Brooke Burke on the Tyra Banks show and she sells this belly wrap called 'Tauts'. She has a website called Baboosh Baby and sells this wrap on her website. The wrap is designed to reduce water retention in the belly and helps you lose inches faster. Anyone out there try anything similar?? It cost around $60 and before I spend money on this, I'd like to get some opinions. This probably isn't the best place to post this, but I didn't see a forum for "after pregnancy body" Thanks, Ladies.

I'm not sure about that, but for my 2nd I knew it was a scheduled cesarean, so I bought one of those spandex girdle things and it made a huge difference as opposed to the first. It held my droopy belly up so it wouldn't pull on the incision and I believe it helped the water and gas retention from the surgery. I think I bought it at like wal mart or something though. I still have it and if I have to have another c-section I will definitely use it. Maybe I will try it either way!

I used a girddle that i bought from target...(i had a csection) and it helped A LOT- BUT you hvae to wear it nonstop it helps bring the muscles across your stomach back together so they can reattach to where they need to be and back to eachother...since they seperate while pregnant and if you dont tighten and get them back into place you will end up with that lil pooch (which isn't the end of the world but if you dont want it) my girddle was $20 compared to that $60 and i think it worked JUST AS WELL you just need something that will be tight on your abdomin and hold it in... gl

That's, great - thanks! I'll probably be heading to Wal-Mart or Target. I heard you have to wear it non-stop for about 6 weeks.
