I am 19 weeks pregnant and 2 days ago I noticed my br___t getting really hard and tender. Worse than they were in the begining of the pregnancy. Then yesterday, I noticed that my breats were really read like a rash or something. They itch really bad. I just want to squeeze them really hard even thought they hurt! Anyone have any ideas what could be causing a rash all over the br___t area? When does the milk start to form??

I don't know about the red rash, but my b___sts started leaking this week. I'm just over 16 weeks now.

the rash can be because of the skin strechting and b___bs getting bigger as well as dry skin. I've had days where my b___bs hurt for a while or shooting pains and I have the urge to squeez them hard and when I do it goes away for a while. Keep then well moisturized and that should help with the itching.

K, think yourself lucky, not everyone HAS to have horrible pregnancy symptoms! Some people go through their whole pregnancy without any discomfort whatsoever, you're one of the lucky ones!

your b___sts can do all sorts of crazy things during pregnancy. most of the time it's nothing to worry about. but a red rash is worth a call to the doctor. dry itchy skin is not a big deal.

I just read recently that the milk ducts can get clogged even before b___stfeeding starts. I think it's best to check with your doctor but also read that warm compresses and ma__sages can help. Good luck!
