I've had very bad asthma since I was a kid and every winter and summer it gets really bad. But lately now that I'm pregnant it seemed to have gotten worse. It's effecting the way I work and live. I am currently suffering from it atm. I can't take my inhailer too many times and it's just really uncomfortable. I also have really bad allergies that triger it as well. Today wasn't too hot out but i had issues even at work where it is air conditioned...( my work almost didn't let me go home to relax ) just wondering if any one had any thing they could tell me or help me out with. ? I also do not smoke.

Oh man, this must suck...I'm so sorry! Have you talked to your doctor about it? I just know that I don't have allergies OR asthma and I've gotten horrible congestion and problems breathing just from pregnancy alone. I can't imagine what you are going through. I HATE the feeling of not being able to get a good breath in. I'm just thinking maybe the dr. can do something to make you more comfortable if you stress how bad it is?

Hey Bilmes123, i actually also suffer form horrible allergies and asthma and when i first got pregnant they were totally out of control. Ask your doctor about daily inhalers such as advair or symbicort i think it's called. Some daily inhalers are ok to take and they do make a difference. It's better to take them and be able to breath than to not supply you and your baby with enough oxygen. Also, and this may sound gross, but my mom used to make me take liquid chlorophyll, the green plant stuff, and it actually did help me, not during an asthma attack, but i didnt feel as out of breath.Hope i was able to help!

Well I do use an inhaler but I am so causious using it because I am scared. Instead of two puffs I take 1 which works and then I relax. But it seems every time I sneeze like 10 times in a row from my allergies I'm back where I started again with the weezing and caughing. Right now my nose is mega plugged and I started getting a deeper caugh...I think I might be congested or something...with my allergies, asthma and that it makes it horrible. I am going to see a doctor about it today before I go to work to see if they can help me
