I have hemroids really bad and have been doing everything to increase my fiber intake but for some reason my stool is still not soft. Can you take a stool softener during pregnancy?

I've been taking walmart's brand of Senokote it's a natural vegetable laxitive and is cheaper than the name brand. It is on the list of things my doctor told me I could take. It says take 2 a night, and I did that the first time and now I take one about every other night and it works quite well!

My doc told me to take Colace pills. I went to Wal Mart to get them, and they are working great. Also, try drinking prune juice. It isn't the greatest tasting but i would rather chug a little bit of juice than feel horrible.

Try eating oatmeal for breakfast, and taking a little walk after dinner. Sounds silly, but it's worked great for me.
