Hi, I am new to the forum and am due in October. I've been told that its common to have some dishcarge during pregnancy. Does anyone else have it? Have you ever taken any medicines to treat it. I have been prescribed Flagyl...notvery confident so haven't yet started it.

yes it's normal to have lotiony white discharge and sometimes it can be kind of yellowed, but your med is an antibiotic, so if your doc prescribed it, it's because you had an infection of some kind. is your discharge burning, smell, or off colored?

ditto to what Teddy said. It's normal to have regular white discharge. If your doc prescribed something than you prob have some sort of infection, so I think you should take it. You dont want to mess with an infection down there during pregnancy.

Thanks for those responses. Yes sometimes the discharge does smell. Maybe I should take the med after all. Thanks
