For Those With 2 Stroller Recommendations

My son will be almost 2.5 when my newest son is born. I am wondering if anyone has any good double stroller recommendations. I currently have a Countors single stroller (I think its my Kolcraft) which I love but the double version seems so uncomfortable for my older child (he is big as well). I was also looking at a double stroller in the One Step Ahead catalog. Has anyone had any good experiences with a stroller. I would ask this in the toddler section, but I find questions don't get many responses. Thanks ladies.

I want to know too! My dd will be 21 months when our sonis born. I have a nice new Graco/Laura Ashley stroller/carseat combo and hate to part with it but I can't carry around 2 babies. :)

I am a total stroller freak! It really depends on how much you'll use it & how much you want to spend. My kids will be 21 months apart when my lo is born in June & I have not stopped looking into double strollers! (We walk a ton!) I just purchased a Graco Quattro Duo...it's the newer model of the dou glider. I'm not a huge fan of it, but it'll hold a toddler & an infant in a car seat, & it was pretty cheap. It should be nice to use for the first few months if I am alone & have to run out with both kids. Once I get closer to June (my due date) I'm also going to get a Phil & Ted. I can't really explain it, it's sort of like a jogger, you should check it out though...I love it! The only thing I do not like about it is that it won't hold an infant in the car seat & a toddler (it will hold an infant w/o the car seat & a toddler though). This one is pretty pricey. I also looked into the new Peg Perego Aria 60/40. It's a side by side, which I don't really love, but it is so super light & also will hold an ICS & a toddler, but it's pretty pricey too, & I decided that the Phil & Ted was better suited for our needs. Anyway, hope this helped a bit! Good luck!

Thanks Meg. I'm less concerned with price and more concerned with how comfortably my older son will be. All the models I've looked at seem to have a really small seat for the older child. I also want a stroller with trays for both children and a tray for me. I'm sure I'll be doing laps around Babies R Us one day trying out all the different ones!
