I can't take them no more...they hurt so bad and my daughter pulls my hair all the time and makes them worse. I take tylenol but ran out and well it doesn't help all that much. I want them to go away already. I got them with my daughter too and I hate it. I really just wish the throwing up, the nausea, the headahces and RLS would go away. By the way 16 weeks today, anyone else in the same boat, what works for you?
I get Migraines weekly :( It is terrible. Caffene seems to help some. My Dr has told me to take 2 Extra strength Tylenol with a soda(Or cup of coffee) and then rest.
Well I prefer Tylenol PM and a soda(cant stomach coffee still) and then Sleep if I can. But I have a 19 mos old DD and I also work Fulltime from home. So sleep is hard to get, which I swear is making my Migraines worse. I am thinking about going for Disablitly now :( Not that I want to, but I am missing a day or two of work ALLLLLLLLLL the time anyways and staring at the computer doesnt help.
You could try ma__sages, Warm baths, Maybe a little chocolate.
Good luck. PS: I am 23 weeks.
Hi Ladies - Well I am 23 weeks today and just lately I have started getting migraines - used to get them a fair bit but hadnt had one for about a year - now seem to get them weekly too. The worst thing about it is that I get that splotchy vision just before so I cant do anything at work (on computer all day) and then once my vision clears - bam - pain. I do the same as you ladiesw - 2 panadol straight away but it doesnt really do much. Maybe you could try getting a heat bag and putting it on your neck - I find that helps a bit. It really is horrible - especially when you cant get to lay down. I hope some of the suggestions mom of 1 gave help you Nerdy Girl. Sorry I couldnt be of more help! Hang in there!!!!! :)
Try taking excedrin tension headache....it's just tylenol infused with caffine. That worked for my smaller headaches but I got aweful migraines that would make me throw up and dehydrate. Your doctor can prescribe something, mine gave me something called midrin. My migraines would start at the nape of my neck and go all the way up to behind my eyes. I would put a heating patch on the back of my neck and a cooling migraine patch on my forehead. Try letting hot water run over your head, it can help loosen up the constricted blood vessels.
