Hi - I still have them quite a bit... the key is not EXTREMELY hot, and not for sustained periods of time. My dr told me to avoid our hot tub b/c of the jets, but other than that it's fine. You just don't want your temp to be elevated for a prolonged period of time. I couldn't give them up in these cold Canadian winters (and this is my third child - it was fine for the other two!)

I still take baths...I gave them up in the first trimester but am now 24 weeks and take them when I need to relax. It is funny, she kick more when I am in the water.

my last pregnancy i rang my midwife becasue i heard ''no you cant have a bath or spa' and 'of course you can!' i am aloud to take a spa all i want but the temp cant be as hot as the average temp so notch it down a few degrees! also long periods of time spa or hot bath can make you feel faint or sick so just go with what you can usaly handle and cool it down a bit to be sure and youll be fine!

baths are totally fine. Your body temp will warn you - you'll get uncomfortable if the water is too hot. Plus, tub water cools pretty quick and you have a lot of exposed skin (to air) which keeps your body temp down. Hot tubs though...different story.

As the other ladies have stated, it is not necessarily the temperature of the bath (you can take a hot one) nor is it as extreme as that you SHOULDN'T. The key is to not cause your body temperature to rise which is what happens if you submerge your entire torso, as in a hottub. Hot baths with just your lower belly, or even your entire belly if it fit, submerged is a-ok. It's when you start elevating your body temperature is when it will affect the blood pressure of your baby. :) So go enjoy a bath!
