Taking hot baths, hot tubs, and saunas are not suggested. Extra warmth in the uterus is not healthy for the fetus, I read that it can create a "hostile environment" for your developing baby. That includes tanning beds as well. Your always better when you talk to your doctor about questions and concerns.

You aren't supposed to get too hot or too cold. Hot makes the baby's heart race and it's not good for it. I'm not sure why you can't be cold.

Fevers, hot tubs & saunas increase the risk of birth defects to your baby. Your body's temperature is very important to your developing baby.

Hi, my doctor said hot baths are ok. It was said at one time that hot baths, hot tubs, etc would cause you to go into labor early or at least make you contract. He told me it was perfectly fine. Actually better than showers because you get cleaner. Just my bit of info! much love and good luck!

I have been told that baths are fine (as long as they are not too hot) but most hot tubs are too hot and can raise your core body temperature too high.
