Low Back Pain

I am 14w2d and for the last 3 nights, I CAN NOT get comfortable when I go to bed. My lower back...like almost down to my tailbone and into my hips has been aching so bad. This is my second pregnancy and I don't remember having this at all with my first pregnancy. It's weird because it only bothers me when I go to bed. I try sleeping in different positions, and the only ones that I can get some rest in are if I am able to stretch out my legs almost like a scissor because it feels good to stretch my hips (thank you for a CA King size bed so hubby doesn't mind too much). Anyone else have this or know what it may be? It's not like a UTI or anything like that (I've had plenty of them before). Thanks for any input!

I was having the same problem exactly...even down to the needed stretch to get even the smallest amount of relief. I asked my doc about it...wondering if my high heels were to blame...(this is my third baby and I don't remember this kind of back ache before either) The doc siad the heels defently do not help...but the real pain is coming from the bones in your back seperating to make room for the big belly. She said that it is more pronounced in some pregnancies over others and that every pregnancy is diffrent. She said there is defently a good reason for there to be lots of pain in low back and hips though!!
