So, I've been really craving a steak and I finaly went out and bought one...I cooked it myself and cooked it to a medium rare I think...just a little itty bit of pink. ( I usually have it like blood rare ) I was wondering if thats ok...I just don't want to eat something wrong

As long as the internal temp is what is recommened for meats to be safe, then you should be fine. I'm not sure what that temp would be though. If you have a meat thermometer it may say. Otherwise I am sure you can find the info online.

Meats should be cooked to an internal temp. of at least 160 degrees

I don't have one of those thermometers but the meat wasn't frozen and was at room temp because I just got it from the store. So I'm sure it was fine. I have been lacking in protien and certian meats make me feel sick even just by looking at them

It is best for the baby to consume all meats well done due to bacteria. Also, do not eat deli meats unless you heat them before eating them. Listeria can be found in them if not handled properly & can cause birth defects & still birth. Also, avoid sushi.

lol the sushi thing is hard for me but I've stayed away from it. And I also stay away from deli meats just to be safe...I like it cold not hot lol so I just avoid it.
