Where is the placenta normally located? My ultrasound tech said that mine was in the front of my uterus? Is that where it is normally located?

It can be anywhere in your uterus. It also "moves" in the first few months. Mine is also in the front, with my last it was on the side.

The ultrasound tech told me it the location very in every pregnancy. My is on the back wall of the uterus.

I remember hearing that the front of the uterus is the more common place for it to be.

An anterior placenta (in the front) is actually considered "abnormal." As long as it's high and not covering the cervix, it's no big deal it just can increase the chances that the baby will be face up during delivery, which is something you don't want. But I have an anterior placenta and since 28 weeks my little girl has been face back. But everyone's right-- the location of the placenta changes.

I dont believe it is low lying because I think my doctor would have definately told me about that but I thought it was weird that they didnt tell me it was anterior, it was the 3D ultrasound tech that told me. But maybe that is why I only feel my baby's kicks lower in my stomach, because the placenta is in the way?

The most common thing I hear about an anterior placenta is that it can make the baby harder to feel and hear. But you are right... your doc would have told you if it was low lying.
