Every morning and around 6 in the evening, I feel this heavy pressure in my lower abdomen right above my pubic bone. It almost makes me sick. I honestly don't know how I would explain it. It doesn't seem like anything of concern to me, it feels like it's probably quite natural but I'm wondering if it's the baby or if it's round ligament or what? I just feel so many new things going on in my stomach that I can't sort out what's what and it's all new to me so??!?! Anyways does anyone else experience this and what do you think it might be. I'm 20w2d and I still don't know if I've felt the baby or not, I have NO clue what is what like I said. Everyone acts like, oh you'll just know but IDK maybe I won't?! Or maybe I will after he's much bigger and stronger but for now I have no clue. Anyways that pressure isn't painful really it's just uncomforable. It feels like my stomach is just really heavy and I want someone to carry it around for me or I want to prop it on something. lol

The round ligament pain is more like a pulled muscle, kinda to the side. The pressure may just be that the baby has settled down low overnight and you are feeling all of his/her weight on your cervix. Don't worry about not feeling movement yet, with my first I didn't feel it until about 22 weeks or so. Sometimes with the first, you're always thinking "That couldn't be it, it must be gas" and you may have felt it earlier and just not recognized it. Pretty soon you will be looking for a break from all that kicking!

I feel the same pressure you do. I'm 19w3d. I usually feel a lot of the pressure when my underwear rolls down to that area. But sometimes I just feel the pressure, almost as if the baby is sitting exactly on my cervix. I have an appointment today and was going to ask the doc if the pressure is normal.

Angelmonkey- I often feel like my baby has grown talons an is trying to claw his way out! I was told these are the round ligament pains. Horrible!
