I have been working with organic solvents for last 5 years not knowing that they are solvents and beeing told thay are safe to use. I am 14 weeks pregnant now and just found out on my own that they can harm my baby. My job did not even have MSDS. I have used them without wearing gloves, there was not a proper vantilation system and I am just terified that there might be something wrong with my baby. I don't use these chemicals anymore, all my friends and family are very upset about it. I am so scared........ Do not know what to do... Well, I just thought I feel better by sharing my story..... Thank you all

im really sorry to hear this there is enough worrys in a pregnancy without having to deal with something like this.the only advice i can offer is to see your dr and tell him/her of your worries.try not to worry.there r athorities out there (in australia its worksafe)that would be interested in hearing about this because the dangers were not just for your baby but for you also.i hope everything goes well so you can enjoy your pregnancy and baby when it arrives
