I'm pretty sure they can tell by then, I had my appt. at 19 weeks and the tech had no problem seeing what the baby was. Alot of it just depends on how the baby is positioned. Best of luck to you!!

i had a sonogram at 12 weeks and it TOTALLY looked like a boy to the tech and myself and dh. do you think that's too early to tell? even the sonogram tech was surprised that it looked like a boy already.

You'll be able to tell then... as long as the baby is cooperative. We found out at just over 15 weeks that my son was a boy. This baby looked "very boyish" at his 14 week ultrasound, but I've heard that both boys and girls can look pretty similar then. At my 16 week ultrasound, the OB (a different OB than my normal one) saw something in SOME shots between the legs but it wasn't consisently there OR very visible. He said he MIGHT be able to CONVINCE himself that it COULD be a p___s. lol. I have another u/s on Monday (almost 18 weeks) and then my big u/s is at 19w1d, so I am guessing we'll find out for sure in the next couple of weeks. GL to you!!

i'm due next in three weeks... i'll be at 19 weeks then, i can't wait! hope he/she is being cooperative, it's a kinda compet_tion between me and daddy, he keeps saying he knows he made a boy, but my gut is telling me it's a girl... this is so exciting :)
