Well the doctor told me to go in because I was cramping...we went and the doctor was asking questions. When he went to look for the heartbeat he couldn't find one...I was so freaked out and wanted to cry, then finally he found the heartbeat. For that minute and a half it took him to find it got me so scared. The heartbeat was 140. He said that it seems like with this pregnancy there is alot of pressure causing the lower pain. More then likely it will always be there til the baby comes or my uterus repositions itself, which I don't know if that happens. I go for my first ultrasound on Monday, I can't wait. I will be 17w exactly. What are the chances of finding out the s_x and it being accurate? It is more then likely going to be my only one...I mean I have seen a 16w picture and the boy appeared clearly as a boy, you know perfect image, but if its a girl what are the chances of it being a boy in the end?

I had my first ultrasound (well I had one at 7 weeks) at 17 weeks 2 days and she was pretty confident he was a boy......4 ultrasounds later he still has boy parts :)

I hope I find out and its accurate. DH wants to do another 3D one, but who knows if that will happen

Glad your baby is ok. :+) If it's a boy...it will be pretty easy to tell...a girl can be mistaken easily though. I have a friend who was told she was having a girl - and oops, Friday the 13th came around and it was a boy!

I have my u/s at 17w4d and it was a boy for sure. I can not imagine that shrinking down in to girl parts! I am glad everything went well for you. Be sure to let us know what they see.

I will definately let everyone know what they say. I do hope tho that its accurate. But my cousin was supposed to have a boy and they found out they were having a girl in the delivery room. She was lucky tho she didn't have to buy anything since she had a girl and a boy previously.

We found out at exactly 18 weeks that we are having a boy and it was definitely obvious.
