~S~ - I was putting coco b___ter all on my body , but then I started to not care about my skin! I am usually not like that! I have to make myself put lotion on my skin now. I guess thats why the marks are starting! Lyn, I am the same way! I havent got sick at all either! The only thing I am dealing with is stretch marks, and believe me ...id rather get sick than get those nasty little things!!!!! lol. good luck everyone!

Annie, you aren't alone on this one in my case. I feel alone and then guilty about this one. So many women just seem to love being pregnant, I can't relate. Perhaps I don't like change, and I know I am petrified of this entire process, including after baby is here. I just want my normal life back. I feel like my body is a machine, like you said, not mine. I have a hard time seeing the scale go up, even though I have only gained 3 three pounds! I know its going to happen eventually.
I can't wait for the day, its over and I have established some routine with the baby. This might sound really wierd to some, but I miss getting my period too. I just would feel myself again after I am back to what I am used to physically.

I've had my ups and downs with pregnancy. I'm in the Army, and being pregnant has severely limited my job performance; I'm still allowed to do my "desk job", but other people in my unit are having to cover down on my "military" tasks, because I'm unable to do them. It's hard watching my friends be saddled with extra duties, just because I went and failed to use b/c. Not to mention, the military aspects of being in the military are why I joined in the first place!! But, I love feeling my little girl wiggle and roll around in my belly - and it's neat that I now finally LOOK pregnant!

Annie I'm right there with you, I hate it too, you feel big misearable and like eveyone looks at you, you can't do what you once did, I'm lazy and I hate to get bigger. But even before i ever got pregant I would look at pregant women and think to myself it got to be a misearable thing a I found out it is to me.

I'm with you. Pregnancy is a necessary evil to get my babies, which I love more than anything. I don't have fun pregnancies and there's not much about them that I enjoy!

No, I am not enjoying it either. I am actually marking the days off the calander up to my due date. As much as I can't wait to have a baby, I won't be rushing back for a second one in a hurry!!

I hated it too but after about my 11th week my m/s went away totally. Although I do now have headaches every couple days but I'd take them over feeling sick and tired all day. I have a newfound energy within me and you will too. I wake up bright eyed in the morning and can eat without feeling sick. Foods don't taste weird anymore and smells don't bother you. I can honestly say that some days I totally forget that I'm even pregnant. It's like I had a bad flu for 8 weeks and now I'm all better. I gained a few lbs from all the eating I did at first because it made me feel a little better to eat and it was nothing but JUNK food. But other than that, I don't feel pg anymore and I'm going on 15 weeks. So hang in there! It will get better!

Annie, A woman after my own heart... This is my third pregnancy and I hated every pregnancy. I gain alot of weight with my pregnancies and have a hard time taking it off. This time, I'm especially miserable. I am 45 and am having amnio so I just feel so blah!! My husband and my two children (20 yr old girl and 4 year old boy) on the other hand, are thrilled. I see other woman who just have this little bump in the front. I'm not one of them. It seems that I immediately start spreading wider and wider. I hate buying maternity clothes etc. I'm not due until October 28th so it's gonna be a long, long summer. You think I would have learned something... My son's birthday is Oct 29th and my dauighter's birthday is Oct 31st. Three birthday's in 1 week. Gosh!!!
Good Luck

I feel the same. We are very happy about the baby. But i have been sick since day one. I am 21 weeks and i still throw up in the morning from time to time. But when that let up i started getting headaches. It just seems that if one thing goes away something else comes. I am really ready for it to be over

Are you kidding? Who could hate the constant vomiting, back pain, blured vision, cramping and fear of spotting, gaining weight. hormonal surges, mood swings, weird appet_te, lack of energy, lack of s_x life, and lack of life in general? I love every minute of it....sarcasm is hard to convey in typing. But it is supposed to get better....still waiting <~~~ 15 weeks
