The last few mornings I have woken up with a real st_tch in my right side and it lasts for about an hours or so after I have gotten up. Then it goes away allof a sudden. Do you think it is baby sitting over on that side giving me the pains?? I wonder because I have been waking up on that side and maybe she has settled over there.???

Patti, I have noticed the same thing except I usually get it after I get out of the shower and for some reason around 2-3 o'clock in the afternoon. It's like the pain you get if you run and get that pain in your side. That's how it is for me. I don't get it everyday, just a few times a week, but it makes me have to stop and sit. I've also started to get Braxton Hicks contxs. They started from what I've noticed yesterday. Kinda uncomfy.

oh good Ekay - well not good, but glad to hear that you are getting them as well. Must just be baby squished over to that side or something. What do braxton hicks feel like??

BH feel kinda just like my tummy is tightening-nothing serious. It sorta feels like its just a little hard to breath when I get them and that's really how I know that's what it is, but that gets worse (but not necessarily bad) the further along I get. One might note the big difference between a BH and a REAL contrxn is with a real one, it feels like someone is wrapping their hand around your cervix and twisting it.

oh OUCH!!! Ok I have not had any yet then I don't think. I have had period like cramps all the way through my pregnancy and always wondered if that was them, as well, I always have episodes of not being able to breath well, but nothing like you are describing.

hi everyone! I have been having BH since around 14 weeks, lol. nothing bad, but i notice them. today i've already had around 6, don't know why tho. maybe i need to drink some water. oh and by the way, i did work saturday. and ended up not being physically able to because of the severe hip pain i have. I couldn't walk on my left leg hardly at all and my boss, who is like a second mom to me, told me not to worry about it, she didn't want me to hurt myself or the baby. so i am now NOT working, which sucks. the rest of that day after 9 hours on my feet, my hubby had to help me get anywhere and i literally couldn't get my feet especially the left up off the ground, i scooted them a few inches at a time. and i would have to lean over my dresser when i got out of bed to pee, and walk myself VERY slowly to a standing position cuz if i didn't i would fall or almost fall from the shooting pain in my left hip. not fun. I wonder if they can do an MRI on my hip or something to check it. i go to the doc thursday for my last 4 wk appointment! i'll ask. and i also gotta do a blood glucose this week sometime too, yuck. i puked while they were taking my blood with my first baby, lol. it wasn't really funny then tho, hehe. but it is now. i am soooooo sleepy, only 2 and a half weeks til schools out for me! and only a few more days til i am in 3rd trimester! friday!!!! woohoo!!! almost there!!!

Cnas- It happenes alot now. IDK where everyone has gone. I thought we where all getting so close. It kind of sucks... BUt its kinda good to hear your not working only cuz that was alot of time on your feet but i know you really need the money so that sucks... Hopefully gas prices will go down along with everything else that is getting ridiculous....

Cnas - that is really c___ppy about how much pain you are in with your hip. I would double check with the doc and see if there is anything that can be done to help it abit. Physio maybe?? The not working sucks, as I know you were looking forward to the extra income, but not if it is hurting you like that. I hope it gets better. I am having a really swollen feeling day today. Everything on me just feels big and puffy, although I am not swelling. I think I am having a hard time with the weight that seems to want to jump off every person that I pa__s and attach itself to me like a bloody cling-on from outter space in all different places. And we still have another 14 weeks to go, at a pound a week. Uugh... the summer attire is not going to be fun. All of a sudden it seems like the weight is just appearing - anyone else?? I know as long as she is healthy I shouldn't care, but I do :( Bummed out I think. That and I know hubby is leaving again at the end of the week for another month. Three weeks in five months is just not enough time together. He has been gone almost the whole pregnancy. Sigh... ok there is my little pitty party for myself. Thanks for listening.

oh lord i hope so! i can't wait to get that check and pay off a few things, so thats a few less bills to worry about! then iam outta school in less than 3 weeks and no gas for that or babysitter! so maybe i can save some money!!!! ahhh, that would be awesome! lol. i still want to get another u/s done to make sure chloe is a chloe and not a dane! lol before i go buying girlie things!

SB- yeah the hip thing sucks! that night my right leg swelled up from me putting most of my weight on that side! but its okay, as long as i dont do too much. i still have to get up slowly tho, no matter what. will your hubby get to be there when u have the baby? and stay for a while after that?? i hope so!

Yes, he should. I think this job is only supposed to be for the month of May and then he should be home, but pipleine work seems to have a way of extending itself for longer periods of time - always. But the plan is that he will be done in june and be home until late aug. So he should be here for the baby. I told him this winter that I wouldn't make a big deal out of him being gone the whole pregnancy and me being alone, but there was no way that he would be working when she is born. So that was our deal, and I need to stop feeling sorry for myself. I knwo there are so many women out there that have husbands deployed that will not be home for the birth of their child and I truly feel for them. So I should consider myself lucky. Then after he has to go back to work in sept, me and babe willgo with him and stay in our fifth wheel until it gets cold and we need to come home. I want him to have every opportunity to get to know her while she is new too. We have a year for mat leave,so it willmake a huge difference being able to go with him.

ok, so I am going to throw this out. You knwo we have been wavering back and forth between Grace and olivia and Jordan for a name - but because hubby doesn't know it is a girl yet, we are still undecided. But what do you think of Ryan or Riane for a girl?? It popped into my head today and I can't get rid of it. I can't decide if I liekit for a girl.
