Morning!! I know, I just got to work and am already on here!! I totally agree - If I was my own boss I would be very concerned with my productivity or else very impresses with how dilligent I am with my computer work!! Thankfully for me, my dh is not really into football, so our sundays are usually pretty easy to do stuff, but when hockey season starts or it is hunting season... forget it!! I am totally on my own! Wow I can't believe that you have the patience or the energy to be planning a wedding as well right now!! Way to go girl!! I cant wait to see your beautiful wedding pics!! Very glad that your dress fits!! I always thought it would be neat to share my wedding day with my unborn. My nephew was at my wedding too although he was only 6 months(pregger months), but now he looks at the pics and points at his mommy belly in the wedding party and says me!! Too cute! Heres a questioon, has anyone noticed any moles or freckles that they had prepregnancy that had all of a sudden gotten bigger? Or know if this is normal?? I a tiny mole on my back right on my spine that I have had for years and I just noticed last night that it is HUGE!! It doesn't hurt or isn't red, just big. A little freaked out about it, but thankfully I have my monthly checkup today, so I will ask her then. Hope everyone is having a good morning!!

I am lucky most of the wedding stuff was done before I got pregnant we had already had the hall, the church, the d.j., and the photographer and our engagement photo was done in oct so most of the stress was in all that.. His mom is helping me out a lot to and other things I am getting done while at work like ordering things online my job gets down times I am a dispatcher and when all of out officers are on lunch I am able to do a lot of things here..

That is handy!! I found our wedding to be pretty easy to plan as well. We live in a small town and therefore the hall is actually the curling rink without the ic ein it, the church is the only one is the area, there is only one catering group nearby and we just had to hire a band. It was a huge wedding,( he comes from a family of 12 and they all seem to have a million children, and my family is huge as well and then you have to invite everyone in the town because they would be left out if you didn't and on and on....) but it is all very low key and country so it was easy. I would love to go back to my wedding day, we had so much fun! I hope you guys have a great weather day and you are feeling great that day. Remember to enjoy every minute of the day, it goes by so fast!!

Gabby that is soo exciting!! So once you go then it will only be 6 more days for me!! I know we all want healthy babies first and foremost, but what is everyone kinda hoping for?? Me personally I would love a girl - I was adopted and although I was very close with my mom(adopted mom) I have always wanted to know what the biological bond between a mother and her daughter is like. I am sure it is the same as what I had with her, but just something I have always wondered and have always thought it wouldbe great to have a little girl. But on the other hand, sometimes little boys have that real close bond with their moms instead, and that I would love too!! I guess I am just really excited to have a biological child of my own!! I forget sometimes that I really do have a real live person inside of me 24 hours a day and when I stop and think about it, it is really sureal!!

I know, I don't think I've fully comprehended the fact that there's a baby in my "getting fat" belly!! I'm hoping for a boy! mike really really wants a boy so that's what makes me want a boy too. we'll both be thrilled with a girl too of course. Ultimately I want one of each!! kitkat, I'll have to look back to the other page, I think I skipped right over to this one! later

I must agree, I too loved having my older brothers to protect me and buy me beer and smokes and get me into all the football parties!!Lol!! Definatley good to have the older brothers!! And their friends were always cute!! I just got back from the dr and she was listening to the hb and sadi that she could tell from all the background noise that we have a very active baby!! She said that it is very normal for us not feel movement until about 20 weeks with the first one, and I told her how impatient I was - she just laughed!! I guess she hears that lots!! When she was checking the fundus height she said that mine was just below the bellyb___ton so that must be good?? I asked her how to check it and she said mine was hard to feel exactly because my ab muscles are so tight. My turn to laugh and say yeah right! The one time in my whole life I dont wish to have nice tight abs. I told her it must be because I had just pigged out on pizza for lunch!! hee hee!!

Wow!! I missed a whole thread you guys!! And it's only been a few days!!! We are really short handed in our department where I work. Currently, we have 3 people and a supervisor to do 24 hr coverage in a parts room. Wanna know what really sucks?? I am the only one hired in for nights. We are supposed to have two more people, but no luck hiring so far. I told them they are going to have to find someone soon because I am currently 18+ weeks, and depending on how well I do as I progress, it won't be too much longer before I go out on maternity leave. It makes sense that would want to hire someone now to get their training out of the way, but I am just a clerk. Oh yeah, until someone is hired in and efficiently trained or I go out on leave, I am stuck working 6 days a week. I put my foot down and flat refused to give up my only off day. I am getting so burnt out!!!! One supervisor complained to me that he only had like 3 days off since Janurary. I was like go cry to someone else I've only had four, plus I'm busy growing a baby!!! Sorry for venting, but it's gotta go somewhere right??

Morning gals!! Hopeful I hope they get some more staff in there to start picking up some of the slack for you. You must be getting burnt out. I am having a really hard time just making it through a normal 8-5 day and not being in bed by 7pm. ANyone else so unbelievably tired?? It just seems to get worse and worse no matter how much sleep I get. I asked the dr. yesterday and she said it is normal. It doesn't feel normal at all! Plans for the weekend???

This is really sad. I want to share it! HOUSTON — A woman who was almost three months pregnant has died after someone cracked her skull with a baseball bat during a fight in a park over a minor vehicle accident, police say. Police say that Melissa Spriggs, 27, was hit with the baseball bat as she tried to usher her family to safety. She died Tuesday at Ben Taub General Hospital from the injuries she suffered at the south Houston park on Sunday. Police are trying to find the person who hit her with the bat. Spriggs and other family members arrived at the park after her 18-year-old cousin called, saying he'd been in a car accident and feared the other driver was going to beat him up. "She came out there basically as a peacemaker to tell everybody let's just get your information and get out of here," said Sgt. M. Dillingham of the homicide division. "She was saying, 'Get in the car; let's go. This ain't worth it."' Dillingham said the fracas began when a white Buick with flashy rims hit a silver Nissan Altima belonging to Spriggs' cousin in the park's parking lot on Sunday afternoon. "The driver of the Buick was ... trying to show off the rims on his car," he said. "Both drivers got out to inspect the damage. They blamed each other (and) nobody wanted to exchange information," Dillingham said. He said that the accident caused only slight damage. But tempers escalated and about 30 people gathering at the park supported one side or the other. The driver of the Buick had been there for a family picnic, Dillingham said. Police were called and an accident report was taken, but the dispute continued between the two sides after officers left, he said. "It was like a small riot almost," Dillingham said. As the fight raged, one of Spriggs' relatives fired into the air and possibly into the crowd. Witnesses saw a young man sneak behind Spriggs with a bat. "She came out there and was trying to get everybody on her side of the family into the cars when the guy hit her in the head," Dillingham said. "He reared back and took a full swing. There's no question he was aiming for her head." The unidentified man escaped with others in the Buick. Spriggs' relative was arrested at the park and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and deadly conduct. The b__w from the bat fractured Spriggs' skull, causing her to suffer a subdural hematoma, or bleeding on the brain.
