softbreeze200 - March 10

Morning gals!! Sorry for jinxing anyone!! I hope you all get the results that you are hoping for!! And me too!!!:) I did finally get onto myspace, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to change my profile pic, change the layout of the page, nothing!! I am feeling like a computer idiot on there! But I did manage to find a couple of you so far, but still looking for the rest of you!! Kitkat - lol I knwo what you mean about trying them on! I am the same way,and even with shirts, I ahve to try them on, becaus eI have sucha hard time with finding something that fits over these things that used to be b___bs, and not be huge everywhere else. Kind of frusterating. At least the style now for the summer is all empire waisted tees and tanks that we preggo's can get away with wearing a few sizes bigger! Gabby i was going to ask the same thing. I too think I might have felt some weird happenings going on in the belly, but I am not 100% sure if it was movement of just my belly rumbling!! I am waiting for that one very definate nudge to know for sure!! Wow you guys are going in for a 4d scan right after! That is exciting!! We are going to book in for one too, but I thinkw e will wait until 26 weeks or so! Dh wants it to look more baby like, instead of still kind of alien like he says!! Such a sweet way to put it hey!! Ekay that is frusterating to go through while preggers. And yes, I can relate to the muddy paw prints all the time!! Hopefully you guys will be able to find something soon!!

Umm, gabby I am truly not sure!! Maybe try looking in mommam's or kitkats friends and I should be in there under softbreeze200 I think!! I am so not used to the myspace thing yet, so any advice on how to change stuff would be greatly appreciated!!

ok, SB, I found you! my doc has me going for so many ultrasounds, I get one every time I go to see him and then he sends me for fancy ones too. good thing I have good insurance! lunch time, I'm so excited! you know, food excites me more than anything else nowadays

I hate it when I post and it doesn't post to the thread. Grrrrr. Is anyone else extrememly exhausted? I thought we were supposed to get our energy back this trimester! I will attempt some time this week to get my myspace up and going. It is so time consuming to get a page started. Gabby, I get charged out the rear for every u/s I get and I have insurance (which is c___ppy). So consider yourself lucky. :-)

gabbysally - March 10

oh ekay, that sucks. so it must be exciting and frustrating everytime you get an ultrasound. not to boast but I don't even have any co-pays throughout the whole pregnancy, I haven't paid a dime. the only thing we'll have to pay for is to upgrade to a private room at the hospital (which is $300 a day!). so I guess we do have good insurance. kitkat, what hospital are you delivering at? I'm St.Barnabus in Livingston.

gabbysally - March 10

and yes ekay, I'm still as exhausted as I was in the beginning. I went to bed at 7:45 last night, no joke. and, now that I think about it, it was really 6:45 since we moved the clocks up! I feel worse in the 2nd tri. boo hoo

KITKAT01 - March 10

I am going to JFK in edison.. that is good insurance mine is kinda like that only the inital copay of $5 nothing since so i guess i am lucky too

softbreeze200 - March 10

oh thankgoodness you guys are still tired too. I am completley exhausted and can't seem to get enough sleep. And yes, definatly worse than the first tri. I was starting to worry that it was just me and that there was something wrong. Phew! I don't ahve to pay for our u/s's as our health care in Canada pays for them, but our dr's willonly send you for two ( 1 in the second tri and 1 in the third) but I got a early one in thre first tri due to the m/c. Any others we ahve to pay for. So we will have to pay for our 3d. Gabby - you are very lucky to get to see your little one so often!! I am jealouse! :)

Did anyone find a weekly list of things that wea re suppsoed to be doing at this point?? Lol... I feel like I am not doing a thing!! Anyone post their belly pics on myspace yet?

mommaminchey - March 10

It does sound like you guys have good ins... We don;t pay for u/s either but our doc hasn't been doing them as often (as i would like...lol) But atleast everything is taken care of... I can can barely wait till Friday I guess I will go ahead and say Im sorry because this is all I will be talking about for the next few days...lol. I have been pretty tired too but I have a boost of energy for today which is odd since its Monday but the weather is great outside... it's 61 and it feels wonderful. Ekay i hope you get to work on your myspace. I wish i was there to help you and SB get familiar with them. It can be so much fun! I had a picture taken of me this weekend and my face looks like a freakn b__wfish... Its so big... haha.. I was like geeze thanks..

momma, me too, I can't wait until thursday!!! I went to baby gap today and saw the cutest outfit, I bought one in navy and one in hot pink - I'll be returning one of them! hopefully the pink one :) kitkat, edison is FAR from me, are you near there? I have to admit I have no idea where Fords NJ is. anyway, I can't stop eating or shopping for baby, or talking to you guys!

Now I feel like I am getting scammed. My deductible is $2,500 a year, so I have to pay the OB $445/month, which includes the extra $450 for the 2 u/s's my insurance didn't cover when I was bleeding. I also have to pay $400/month just to HAVE the insurance. So basically for the next 5 months I am paying $800/month in medical. That seems kinda sh**ty to me. Not to mention what cost I will incur while at the d__n hospital. And it's all for maternity coverage. Once I have this baby, I am getting off this plan. My insurance is Pacificare. I pay $30 in deductible for a normal doctor visit (yeah, think about that when you have 3 kids!) in addition to what I get charged because my insurance doesn't cover sh**. And also $30 for presriptions. This is starting to make me irrate at the amount of money I am dishing out in medical. I also have close to $10,000 in medical debt due to my kids having CT scans, MRI's, x-rays, etc. What the heck kinda insurance are ya'll on?!

gabbysally - March 10

ekay, that's freakin ridiculous. I have aetna through my employer, me and my hubby have it and I pay $10. a month for the coverage plus small copays but while pregnant my co-pays get waived. now that all depends on your employer and I"m lucky that mine covers so much of it. but where is this insurance through - is it through work? where do you live again? if you're in the states you should ditch the insurance for your kids at least and get them on medicaid. your income doesn't matter for children and they can defanitely get coverage. let me know, I'll see if I can give you some advice, I am the social worker of the group ya know!

mommaminchey - March 10

EKAY that's crazy. i can't even believe that. My deductable is $1000 and so I pay $220 a month but taht is for the birth, everything else is covered. I don't pay copays for the ob but for other doc its $20 and $5 for generic meds... I was kinda bummed I was paying that much but geeze girl I couldn't imagine with all those kids doc fees... Poor thing I hope you find something else... I have Blue Cross Blue Shields of Tn. And listen to Gabby she an help you out and save you a ton of money!

Here is the deal with my insurance. I am considered contract labor/self employed in my office (I'm a residential appraiser). So basically to have maternity coverage, because when we first got insurance, my boss's son was planning on having kids and so was another girl and I think I was already pregnant, so we got insurance that covered maternity. At the time our deductible was only $1500, so it wasn't so bad. Well, everyone appeared to be done having kids, let me rephrase-my boss's son was done having kids, so they thought, why not up the deductible so our insurance premium is less. Well, I went and got pregnant. And we fall into that lovely little income bracket where we make too much money to qualify for things like CHIPS (low cost government funded child health care) or medicaid, but at the end of the month we are broke paying for everything we don't qualify for. Know what I'm saying. Here's the deal, for instance, I made about $47,000 and hubby made about $28,000 last year, as far as doc_mented income goes (he does some side jobs), but the thing is I pay about $9,000 for childcare/year, $4,200 for insurance premium, mileage, etc. So we get written down pretty low, but not low enough. I live in Texas Gabby by the way. But it just doesn't seem right to have to pay that much, does it?
