Okay, I posted a 21 week belly photo. It really isn't getting too much bigger, just kinda changing shape. :-( One day soon.....

Morning gals!! I tried all day to post yesterday and I would type it all out and hit submit and it would kick me off!! FRUSTERATED!! Glad everyone had a good day. lo Ekay - good thing she didn't sneeze!! :) My LO has been a lot quieter during the days as well for the last few days and was starting to freak me out, so I have been relying heavily on the doppler!! And as always, she is in there moving away, I just cant feel her. Stupid Anterior placenta. I keep telling her to wind up and give me a good boot, but she seems to be a stubborn little mule(atta girl - juts like mommy!!) I went yesterday to look at a little bouncy chair that a lady was selling for cheap as her daughter hated it and never used it, and I hit a jackpot. This lady has more stuff than a person would know what to do with! And they are moving and have to get rid of it all, so we went through a ton of stuff and I manged to get some great deals from her. She said she pretty much got two of everything and never used half of it, so lots of it is brand new. Stuff like wipe warmer, jolly jumper, play mats, and a ton of baby clothes with tags on still. Was excited about my little find! Gotta love deals! I figure that way, I can spend the extra money on some nice bedding for her crib and a bette stroller. Anyone decide on a travel system yet??

Morning! Im super tired today. I really wish I didnt have to work tommorow. Ive been kinda wondering about the stretching part too. Its good to know it goes back quickly. Ive also been wondering which is better. Tearing naturally or getting cut during a delivery if its needed? I bet both hurt, but ive heard pros and cons about both.

EKAY- your going to hate me...lol. I work at a music venue and do the production for them on the side. I worked more when I wasn't preggo but Shooter is coming April 4th here and I could get you in for free and back stage etc etc... But you live so far away. Wish i could help. BUt it is such a small world. I met him last yr when he came to play. Pretty cool guy.

Ahhhh Mommam - You are making me jealous too!! Where are you?? How long of a drive??? Lol!! I wish!

ekay03 - March 28

MommaM, you totally suck, but in an envious kinda way! I bought my husband The Wolf for his birthday and I opened it and listened to it before I even gave it to him.Heehee. I was surprised at how "old school country" he sounded. I finally had to give the CD back because my 4 year demanded hearing Slow Train so many times it was driving me nuts. I love going to shows like that, smaller venues and closer contact with the artist. I went to see Dwight Yoakum when I was 36 weeks pregnant with my last daughter, now mind you I was miserable, but it was an awesome show. I was torn between Shooter Jennings tonite and the Mike McClure Band tomorrow night, but the MMB comes so often, I opted for Shooter. Have you ever heard of Ryan Bingham? He's a good one too. Thanks for at least offering to help me out though! :-) Kudos on the good deals SB200. You need to lend me your deal intuition-the only stuff I have so far is stuff my mom has bought at garage sales like swings and chairs, etc. I'm trying to talk my husband into asking his mom for a crib, since she doesn't really have much to do with the kids, the least she could do is help out a bit. That might sound c___ppy, but she dotes on Carl's brother's kids because they live up there and sees ours about twice a year and she lives only 5 or 6 hours away. I am SO FREAKING TIRED! Where is this supposed 2nd trimester energy?!! Hmm, where is it!? Eliz, I got an episiotomy with my first (military hospital), but every doctor subsequent to that has let me 'tear' on my own and personally I found it better to 'tear' than get cut. I highly recommend you discuss this with your doctor because some automatically do it whether you need it or not and the healing is not pleasant, on top of the normal healing you would be doing anyways.

I know ekay, I wish you was here too. I have never heard of that other band. I am not that into music unless it's country ( can't blame me i am from tn) so alot of the people who preform I have never heard of and people are like you have the coolest job ever. Plus I get paid cash!!!!lol. I miss working but i hate being around the noise and stuff. Dwight came sometime last yr and i took my mom and gmom and we stood on the side stage because his fans was crazy. I didnt want to get pushed. He is a major jerk and wouldn't sign autographs and felt like he was above our little venue (which didnt sell Out)....

softbreeze200 - March 28

I am sending you my wheeling'n' dealing vibes ekay!! I woudln't think twice about asking my motherinlaw to help out!! Especially if she was not that involved. Why not. If you do figure out where we are supposed to get that extra energy from, please let me know as well. I feel like I am 90 and can't stay up past 9pm! Momma that does sound like a really fun job! But yeah I can see not wanting to get shoved around. I won tickets to go see Allan Jackson (my all time favorite!!) and Brooks and Dunn and Jessie Ferrel in April and I am counting the days!! We had AJ song as our wedding song and actually two-stepped instead of doing a slow dance. It was great! I am thinking baby girl will be a kicking and a rolling that night!! Ekay - how long does it take to heal after a tear??

softbreeze200 - March 28

Ekay, I too ahve kept mine longer that I planned, and I acan't imagine not having it now. Knowing me, I willprobably have it until I give birth to her!! Whata nerd!

mommaminchey - March 28

Yes I am in a bot better mood but we did get some crazy news about my gfather yest, aparently he either sold the co. or got a partner but he cant do either since my mom owns 40% so idk where that puts our law suit... and to top it off. my renter ( a friend of mine. NEVER RENT TO A FRIEND) emailed me today and said she only has $330 of the $950 rent due april1st. Which puts me in a rock and a hard place....

ekay03 - March 28

Oooohh SB200, my fav Brooks and Dunn song is Neon Moon! Everytime it comes on I wish I knew how to two step. They came for our rodeo this year and I almost got to see them due to a friend working at the local TV station, but they literally gave me 2 hours notice for the show and tickets and with 3 kids, that just doesn't work! And as far as healing for a tear vs. an episiotomy, I don't really remember the difference in healing time. I do remember that after being cut with my son, the doctor was down there FOREVER st_tching me up and the epidural had worn off, so I could feel it all. Not fun. I didn't really tear too bad with the girls. There are so many variables to whether you tear and how bad you tear. If your doc is good and ma__sages your perinium while you are pushing, there is a less likely chance of tearing, how big your babies are is a factor and another big, yet almost impossible factor as I have found is when they tell you to stop pushing after the head is out-to actually stop and let the babies shoulders kinda slide out on their own. However, that urge to really bear down takes over and there is literally no stopping me! God, that is the greatest feeling after the shoulders pa__s. That might sound wierd, but for those going sans epidural, you WILL know what I am talking about!

ekay03 - March 28

Mommam, that sucks. I too have learned there are certain things you don't do with friends (i.e. loaning money, letting them live with you for extended periods of time, etc.) Does this friend not freaking understand you have financial obligations too?! That is a really hard place to be in hon and I certainly don't envy you. I REALLY hope ya'll can't get this grandfather business settled soon. I can't imagine something so glum resting on you and your loved one's shoulders so heavily.

wow..labor sounds soo painful. im more scared of that than anything. i dont handle pain very well. when i had my miscarriage, i had to go to the hospital bc the pain was so bad it was making me throw up and black out. i am for sure getting an epidural. (of course i hear those hurt like a biotch too) I love love my doppler. I originally said i was only gonna keep it until i felt the baby move, but even now, im thinking i may just keep it till the end. afterall its only 25 a month. totally worth it for peace of mind. we have been pricing cribs and rockers and it will officially make us broke i think. my dh refuses to ask his parents for any help buying it even though they have loads of money. he is one of those who like to do it on thier own. he would take it if they offered, but will not ask. and he thinks they will probably just buy us a couple small things for the shower. i have begged for him to even just ask for the crib or something. but to no avail... anyone know a cheap way to get good baby furniture? this is my first so all i know is babies r us.

mommaminchey - March 28

Yes i will never never do this again. But i guess it will be over soon enough. They are leasing to won and i hope they get approved before mason comes. Jeremy and i danced our first ever dance to gary allens right where i need to be and that has been jeremy and i's song ever since. he was playing at my venue and i got his mom and them backstage and when the song came on jeremy asked me to dance..(open floor- not seating venue) and we danced and at the end of the song we had our first KISS>>. it was so awesome. IT was also the song we danced to at our wedding. So i hold a dear place in my heart for Gary...lol. As for birth i am scared to death too. and I dont even want to talk about cribs... I ahve been looking for 3 weeks straight bcuz my mil is buying ours and i cant find one i like. its so difficult. but oh well. whatever. i don't have one of those doplers but a friend of mine bought one at babies r us for $20 and she says it works great. IS it different than the ones ya'll have?

softbreeze200 - March 28

Eliz – check out dot kijiji dot com they are a free local buy and sell site. Enter in your city and checkout the baby stuff. There is a lot out there and much cheaper. I always thought that I would need to have everything brand new for the first baby, but after seeing just how much it costs and how much you actually have to buy, I am all about the second hand deals!! My hubby is very thankful that I am like this as it is much easier on the bank account. Or even check out local newspapers. The dopplers that we have are professional medical grade like the DR’s use and are very good quality. The ones from babies r us are more of just a amplifies speaker. My friend bought one and could only barley pick up her hb. It may depend on the person too. Worth a shot! I am so happy to hear that you are keeping your spirits up event through all of this c___p going on around you. It is a terrible spot to be in with a friend and I hope they realize that any other landlord they are in business contracts with would chuck them out on their b___ts. Tough tough spot top be in. But you sound like a very strong person and Mason is a very lucky little man to have you!! Our first dance ever was to AJ It must be Love and yup it has been our song ever since too! I love stories like that!! Ekay I am preparing myself that I may not get a epidural, as our hospital is the only one in the city that delivers and it is known that the drug people(anestesiologists??) aren’t always available when you need one, so I guess we will see! My natural MC was enough to send me through the roof!! Yikes!!

So what is with people and rubbing my belly? As if that is okay? I havent had anyone do it until today. So i guess im finally starting to look preggers, but even so... 2 co-workers came up to me said hello and rubbed my belly. These people are my friends, but i feel uncomfortable with people just touching me whenever. I have NEVER had to urge to rub someones pregnant belly. to me, its still as if i was touching on them not pregnant. Is this gonna start being a normal occurance?
