I am wondering about some spotting that I had this past Monday night. I'm 15 wks and 5 day. I wiped after going to the bathroom and found about three red spots of blood on the tissue - the equivalent of half a dime. I was really worried even if it was a little amount. the er doctor did a pelvic exam and an ultrasound and didn't see anything. he said I had a threatened miscarriage and sent me home. I should mention i didn't have any abnormal pain. The ultrasound showed a healthy baby with a good heartbeat. Since Monday, I have had the same thing happen but with even less red blood on the tissue. Should I a__sume I will miscarry. I know that women can miscarry even with a little amount of blood and without much pain. Thanks in advance

I would definitely take it easy and rest but I would never a__sume a miscarriage. I had a lot of bleeding at 13 weeks with lots of clots but i am now 35 wks, so as long as an ultrasound shows the baby is fine, you should think positively. My sister had a miscarriage a few years ago and hers started with brown blood followed by a lot of pain days later. A lot of us have had bleeding but as you can read most of us have gotten through it to the glory of God. God bless and remember to rest and relax and most importantly think positive.

I am 15w 3d, I had brown spotting this A.M., DH took me to the E.R. drs found blood in my urine also, they did a culture on my discharge and found bacteria. I am ordered on 3days bedrest and meds for the possible infection. I suggest anyone bleeding go to the Dr or ER asap.

Here is a bit of encouragement for those of you scared to death. I had a placental bleed at 12and 1/2 weeks, which was substantial, and lasted on and off for the next 2 weeks. I have not bled since, and am now 30 weeks. My doctor and I feared the worst when we put me on bedrest all those weeks ago. But everything points to a healthy baby girl growing just as she should right now. Keep the faith. I know you're scared.

Well on top of everything else I have beeen through with the bleeding and home rest. Yessterday I found out that My daughter is Breech. I am 34.5 weeks and they are going to give her until 36 weeks to flip and then they will flip her for me. this doesn't sound pleasant. has anyone been through this?

I had a girl 7 years ago that was breech. The doctors talked about flipping her but it was really up to me. I decided not to have them flip due to the high chance of uterine rupture or the plactenta tearing away from the uterine wall. I had a C-Section. I was scared ... It all worked out though. Now I am having another girl. I am 33 weeks. Also to everyone bleeding/spotting.... KEEP your faith. I had terrible bleeding at 11 weeks and then again at 12 weeks with alot of clots. ( look ay my earlier posts ) I was put on light duty. I had tons of Ultrasounds that showed baby fine and no explanation for the bleeding/spotting. It lasted until I was 16 weeks. Then it was all gone one day. I am not scared to go to the bathroom any more to find me bleeding again. But I am scared now to find my plug and my water breaking!! LOL .....I pray for everyone. I cant believe this...I will be 28 weeks tomorrow! its seems impossible that I have made it this far...to all of you still facing issues, just hang in there, have faith and pray!!!! it will work!

You ladies are lucky. After delivering 2 healthy boys. I still do not know what causes this. I had my cycles all the way through both full term deliveries..

Just wanted to let all know that I delivered a healthy baby boy, Josiah Nathanael, on June 21. He weighed 6lbs 15 oz and he is perfect. God bless all who are going through any bleeding and remember that most of the time everything works out...for both baby and mother:)

Everyone keep the faith...after months of bleeding and restricted acitivity, I delivered a healthy baby boy on June 13th!!!!!! God bless you all, you are in my prayers.
